The Sweet Jar with an extra E' is a cute little restaurant in the midst of a chaotic place . Yet once you enter its a transformation from chaos to a little peaceful friendly sweet place. The food was rich and tasteful We had ordered a pasta with extra breads on the side . The coffee ordered was well presented so was the tea. The staff was attentive and well trained to hear the customer out. They have a seating upstairs too which is more peaceful and calm. There is a huge flowery crafted mural on one wall and it stands out as a picturesque piece of art. The lights on the roof are innovatively placed and designed out of pic pipes and simple elongated bulbs . The manager takes good care of the place yet there are places where there is attention required - like the crockery is cracked already and its is not sparingly clean. furniture and tables need to be cleaned properly - the entrance door needs attention over and over again. Overall a fine place to visit...

Quite an hyped place, placed an order for Belgium Fondant cake 1.75 Kgs which costed INR 3100 i.e., equivalent to Radisson/ Country inn bakery but quality was poor. Sugary, Happy birthday written with a jam! OMG! And not the fondant cuts by machine for which these guys chatged me for.
When you are there to collect the order and its the birthday- D DAY! You have no other choice rather to accept even if it is cheap looking replica which has costed a bomb! Belgium chocolated tasted like cheap sugary cheap chocolate, guests didnt liked it and had to leave half the cake unused!
Neither was good looking as committed nor tasty! Completely a waste of money!
Place might be good for fast food, chilling but NOT recommended for Cakes! THEY CAN SPOIL YOUR EVENING!
In one word “PATHETIC”! Deserved one star for so called cake, had given 2 stars by msitake guys!

Read moreSemi bakery and semi cafe, sweeet jar is a wonderful place to your peal, its fairly big, the lower section is a bakery and when you go upstairs it's a cafe with live TV. Decor is cool, plenty of space if you want to throw a party, can easily handle a group of 5-10. Now about food you'll maily get continental and Asian food here. I had pasta with red sauce, peri peri cottage cheese pizza and butter scotch shake, pasta was good, had little gravy was little spicy, pizza had a thin crust, was loaded with cottage cheese and zucchini. Just FYI the Italian food here is great, go for pizza, pasta, lasagna and shakes, no words, undoubtedly the best shakes in whole East Delhi or probably Delhi. My experience was truely wonderful here, its a pocket friendly place with very good food and its a quiet and peaceful place, give it...
