Theobroma Bakery and Cake Shop - Greater Kailash 2, New Delhi — Restaurant in Delhi

They call it Theobroma - "Food Of The Gods", well I didn't know God has such low standards.

Firstly their variety is good but if you are gluten/dairy or any other allergic be prepared to get disappointed as they have nothing for you. After several requesting visits they offered to make gluten free bread for us after speaking to their Chef. Bread was good quality and well done. But when we asked them if they could bake some dessert for us gluten free on order, mind you not 1 or 2 piece but for 35 people, they flat out refused. That was the first time I got a taste of how restricted they can be.

Second time I requested them for 2 more gluten free bread. I was bombarded by calls the next morning from 9:45 till 11:30 as if I was missing my own wedding. I was pestered into leaving work to attend their call because they kept calling me and when I finally came to their shop, their staff Mrs. Nisha(the caller) was anything but apologetic. TOTALLY SHAMEFUL & UNPROFESSIONAL behavior. IF even once the staff had apologized to me I would not be writing this here in a negative result. I asked to speak to their Chef to compliment him for doing such a fantastic job making this and asking him if anything else he could make for us but guess what? The Chef is NOT INTERESTED in speaking to the client he cooks for so there you go. That is "Food of The Gods" world class standard for you.

I ONLY came to them because as a loyal customer I had already ordered the bread from them. Otherwise just 5 blocks away in the same lane there is AMAARI GROCERIES which have many desserts and bakery options. Most of them gluten free without even having to request and service & staff is 100 times better! Offcourse if all you care about is just plain mediocre desserts and nothing fancy or new to try, you will love it at Theobroma as it is as diminished in service as most people in Delhi's creativity is. Their fancy menu with posh french words didn't impress us like most people here who give them such rave reviews.

I would really ignore this unprofessional, new bakery and give them sometime to grow up and realize the client-age they are aiming to bring here. Try something else there are many...

worst bakery to order, I had a bad experience on my birthday with their poor delivery service and overall terrible customer experience. It all started when I placed an order for a cake for a special occasion. The bakery promised a specific delivery time, but the order ended up being delayed by several hours (2 hours ) without any updates or communication from their end. They kept me on hold for 15 mins and they had no idea about the delivery guy It was clear that the items had not been handled with care during the delivery process and it was out for 2 hours. Moreover, when I tried to reach out to customer service to address the issue, I was met with unresponsive and unhelpful staff. They seemed disinterested in resolving the problem and brushed off my concerns without offering any solutions or compensation for the poor experience. Overall, The lack of communication, care in handling the items, and dismissive attitude towards customer complaints made it one of the worst bakery experiences...

I have been a customer here for long . The Two stars given is because the food is amazing but i was really disappointed with the service . went to the m block market shop today in gk 2 and there were only 2 employees of which i guess one was the manager because apparently it doesnt matter if there are customers and the other guy is busy 'the manager' doesnt have even a second to look up from him laptop . the poor fellow begind the counter was packing orders and tried to help us but he can only do much . i hope the establishment and this particular manager remember that helping a customer is the most important thing in a...
