We recently visited Lateback Café with a team of almost 30 people, and it turned out to be an absolutely delightful experience. Hosting such a large group can be tricky, but the café handled everything with ease, right from the seating arrangements to the flow of service. In fact, the place is spacious and comfortable enough to accommodate groups of up to 40 people, which makes it a great choice for team outings, family get-togethers, or celebrations.
The ambience is one of the highlights here. Elegant yet relaxed, with tasteful décor and a warm vibe, it sets the right mood for both casual evenings and special occasions. Being located in the heart of GK 2, the café is easily accessible and feels very welcoming from the moment you arrive.
The food was simply outstanding. Each dish was prepared with care, full of flavor, and served on time despite the size of our order. The variety on the menu ensured that everyone found something they liked, and the overall quality of the food really impressed us.
It’s also worth mentioning that the café is kid-friendly. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and patient, making sure that both kids and adults were comfortable.
Overall, we enjoyed the evening a lot. Thank you to the wonderful team led by the café — from Piyuesh and team, we truly loved it and look forward to...
Read moreI visited this location after reading evaluations on the internet while looking for places in the GK2 market. The atmosphere is OK. The food is delicious, and the variety is amazing. A touch steep in terms of pocket pinch. Overall, the atmosphere is pleasant, the personnel is kind, and the food is delicious and tasty. The place offers a range of cocktails and mocktails. I adored their drink glass. The price remains a surprise for everyone because it is quite expensive. I didn't go on the rooftop because it was too hot, but I imagine it would be nice in the summer. Located in GK2 market, this eatery has created a name for itself. GK2 is a unique experience, and as a Delhiite, I always feel nostalgic when I visit this market. Restaurants here are always high-end and thus slightly more expensive. However, this place looks fantastic in the evening. The view from the café's window was soothing to the eyes. Because most cafés in Delhi do not have a lot of space, I recommend that you book ahead of time if you are going with a large group. We received a pretty fantastic price through Zomato, making this a worthwhile visit. Nice place to hang-out with friends...
Read moreThe ambiance, the service was all good however when it comes to restaurants, it basically all comes down to the food. I came to know of a place through one influencer on Instagram raving about their mezz platter and kebabs so on and so forth as influences do, I took the recommendation by this influencer seriously (big mistake) and went here for lunch with my family (bigger mistake).
The food tasted was below average to say the least, however that wasn't even the major issue, the issue was the oil in which they cooked. There was a smell that made the entire meal unappetizing. The chicken on the mezz platter seemed like it had been marinaded and then stored days ago. The food lacked freshness. We ordered fish and chips for my 1 year old (she just loves it) but here too, we were met with dissapointment, the fish didn't seem very fresh and again the oil in which the fish was fried again had that weird unsavoury smell to it. I give them full marks for the presentation of the food and a fresh lime my wife had (which was actually really good), the food left a bad taste in our mouth.
I hope they...
