Marathi Mejwani — Restaurant in Dombivali

Hello Team Mejwani,,, I have to say this about your restaurant that the food is beyond amazing 😄 We ordered Crab thali. Lobster bites and Bombil fry. and the tatse was too good. Finger licking good. I was just saying wow after every bite of food I had. The Crab was the hero of our order. I mean it was full of meat and juicy. I must appreciate the staff who served us with sweet smile till the end. I will definitely visit again with more people 😄 Also I really don’t get the people who posted negative reviews about this place which actually has such a yummy food. Even if the few items have higher costs, the quality and quantity is worth enough. if you have to wait for a while to get a seat then off course this place has created their name and fame by serving the best. Just visited this place yesterday with my two kids and though it was a a Friday, was surprised to see the place without any crowd except us three!! Comfortably had starters like garlic prawns, bombil fry and stuffed pomfret. Next for the main course had pomfret thalis and crab thali. A 5* for the exceptional taste of all the items. But a 4* for the quantity of pieces in starter items. They could have increased the butter garlic or increase the size of prawns!! Secondly, bombil fry was too thin and only three pieces (which was a total mood off). Though the show stopper was stuffed pomfret, too good!! A 5* for the pomfret thalis which were superb. But the crab one could have been of a bigger size and tender to crush with the teeth. My kid aged 22, found it very hard to break it , just imagine what would happen if I had to savor it!! We visited this restaurant on 17th March 2024. We had to call the person for taking our order .we had placed order at around 1pm and we received incomplete order on our table at around 1.45pm .we had ordered for one prawns stuffed Pomfret fry,one surmai thali,one teesrya thali and two glass solkadhi. Only two thali were served at 1.45pm and on enquiry of rest order the guy taking order says he forgot to place order for stuffed Pomfret fry and said will take 10-15 minutes more for it. By the time we were having our thali solkadhi and stuffed Pomfret fry was served. Inspite of taking 45minutes to serve order the fry surmai in the thali and also the stuffed Pomfret was not marinated properly as only the outer layer of rice flour with rawa layered around fry item giving taste but the inside portion was absolutely tasteless. Similarly the curry served was not having any taste of fish. Thus we had a feeling of waste of time...
