I recently dined at Sonali Family Restaurant and Bar as a local guide, and I must tell it was a fantastic experience. This restaurant, tucked away in a quiet area of the city, is a true hidden gem for anyone seeking real Indian cuisine.

The restaurant's warm and friendly environment wowed me from the moment I walked in. The decor was elegant, and the soft lighting produced a cosy ambiance ideal for a casual dining experience.

Hotels' menu features a wide range of Indian food, from standard favourites to lesser-known regional specialties. Sonali Family Restaurant and Bar provided attentive and courteous service. The service was well-versed in the menu and gave recommendations depending on my interests. The dinner arrived quickly and was attractively prepared.

The live music performance by local artists was a highlight of my eating experience, adding to the whole mood and making my evening even more delightful.

Bar provides a well-stocked bar with a range of cocktails to select from, in addition to superb food and service. Their cocktail and mocktail menu is extensive, and I especially enjoyed their Mango Lassi, a traditional Indian yogurt-based drink.

Rates are reasonable. There are four sections. Upon entry there is a garden seating where there is a live opera 😜. Singers are sometimes good sometimes they are okay..lets say a 50-50 chance that the singer is good. The second section is the a/c section where you can enjoy with your friends Six to 7 people can dine on one table and there are four tables. The third section is specific for families where you can enjoy it with your family. It is also air conditioned. The fourth and last section is in the backyard of the hotel where it is a big space with some dim lights with a big projector and speaker. Songs and cricket matches are played here. People often drink and smoke here. There are four washrooms two for men and women between A/c and family section and two in the backyard. Food is good. I specifically liked the chicken biryani and butter chicken. On the day we went the quality of butter naan was not up to the mark and it was very hard to chew than usual. It used be DG's garden before, now they have open space in the entry where the have tables to sit which is decorated with the fairy lights and gives very pleasant experience, they have nice speakers which consistently plays beautiful bolly wood latest collection, outside tables and chairs also have a huge stage in one corner where you can host birthday parties, cocktail and other small function, inside the big dining area is covered with a roof , they have big projector screen and nice indian sitting as well, this huge place is very close to dombivli station and the town, you ll see a very decent or can say sophisticated crowd, food menu is designes so nicely, try their batat wada dish, they have small wada with awesome chutney in the menu which delights your drinks or can say chakna in simple language, all i can say about this place is staff are super fast and so nice, food you ll not be having any complaint about taste, cleanliness well they dont have that high maintained standards but still its negligible because its not the...
