It was our first time visit here on 14th sept that is last night, it was my sister in law birthday celebration and we have seen this restaurant on reels many times, so we decided to celebrate here and take the experience of malvani food and the experience was really very WORST and I m really very disappoint with the attitude of their staff. Experience begins... First we have ordered starters like prawns, chicken, paneer and mushroom which was really very tasty only for which I have rated one ⭐ for that food, then we have ordered thalis like surmai, teesrya, bombil, pomfret and mutton thali and also in veg, we were 8 people so want to try each thali but when they bought it only the presentation of food was good, but once we taste the seafoods surmai it was not at all fresh it seems they have used the frozen fish taste less then same thing with other thalis also only the crab, bobil and mutton thalis were OK or you can say little fresh. And when we complaint about it, they said we have served this to all customers but they didn't say anything if you guys want we will show you the bill that the fish is fresh and not stale we have tasted it is good, but they didn't have courtesy to replace it with the other dish or have courtesy to ask would you like to replace it with other dish. My mom and my sister in law mom both 70+ said we are Goans and we know how the fresh fish tastes but they were not at all ready to accept their mistake. And has it was birthday celebration we also don't want to spoil our mood by argument and to create mess there in front of other customers, so we just had our other dishes except this all stale seafoods and then we packed those stale seafoods threw it in the dustbin so that it cannot be reuse again because it was has it is. I will surely not recommend this restaurant in my relatives and friends and this was our first and will be our last visit to this...
Read moreSo When i visited this place for the first time a guy on the reception behaved like he doesnt want the customer and he treated me as if he is doing favour on me but the restro was too busy hence i felt let it be... I never bothered to put review at that time but i always wanted to visit this place to have authentic food
So starts from wait time after 40 mins of waiting we got our table
We entered the restaurant the bad part is they keep all dirty dishes on ths entry in the basket cleanliness is on the toss here... The place is super conjusted where people cannot walk without bumping into customers table
After order the food they told bhakri was out of stock they served wade in replacement
We ordered
Crab thali
Chicken thali
Surmai Fry
The food is just pathetic...
Taste wise not at all upto the mark a simple maharashtrian family gruhini will serve you best food at home than this place
Just taste less and all mirchi in it
Simple fish fry was tasting ridiculous imagine going for a dinner with family to make them feel special and them this people make you feel like slap on the face
The quantity was not at all sufficient also they charge bomb... Charges donot matter if food is amazing but it is just horrible
Disgusting ambience...No music.... Sitting in the restaurant and you have to speak slowly so that no one shud listen to you easily.....
Rest room was like muncipality washroom
So overall a very bad experience
Wait like stupid
Cleanliness on toss
Tortoise service
Thirdclass ambience
Tastless food
Super expensive
And you will be left half stomach
If you want to spoil your day and mood and waste your time and money perfect...
Read moreVisited Konkon Fusion Dombivli with my family for dinner after hearing good things about their coastal cuisine, and while the ambiance and service did impress us, the overall food experience especially the chicken and mutton thalis, left much to be desired.
We ordered a variety of thalis, excited to try their seafood and non-veg specials. The seafood definitely lived up to its reputation — fresh, well-cooked, and flavorful. However, the chicken and mutton thalis were quite disappointing. The meat in both dishes was undercooked, which we immediately flagged to the staff. The manager was courteous and took the mutton dish back to the kitchen to cook it further, but even after that, it came back still not properly done — a serious letdown, especially in a restaurant that prides itself on its thali offerings.
Eventually, we decided to take the food as a parcel, including the remaining bhakri. But to our surprise, once we got home, we discovered that the bhakri was missing from the parcel, which added to the frustration of an already underwhelming food experience.
That said, the ambiance is really good earthy, traditional coastal aesthetics with a calm vibe. The staff was polite and attentive, and the overall service was efficient. There’s a lot of potential here, but the kitchen needs to be far more consistent and careful, especially with non-seafood dishes.
In summary: ✅ Great seafood, vibe, and service ❌ Poorly cooked chicken and mutton, and missing items in the takeaway
If you’re visiting, I’d recommend sticking to the seafood thalis for now. The rest needs improvement before it matches the overall appeal...
