Pop Tates A casual dining experience and a bar to satiate your mood, Pop tates is a fine experience. Anna and Senna received an invite for trying some of the best items from their menu. While senna quite excitedly praying for availability of the option of fries, went home happily, as all we first tried was Melwyn Fries ππ The fries were golden yellow with no trace of brown shade, tossed well with Green chillies and a chef special secret spice. This one was quite spicy and piquant! There was a slight hint of Piri Piri, but it isn't exactly that. Loved it! . Then comes Veggie Boombastic, a cheesy affair! It consists of balls of cheese and veggies. The balls were quite soft and fluffy. The core is hot and tasty! Anna was quite impressed with this one, especially the Indian style gravy in which the balls were immersed. . Beijing Plan - The king! This one was a hit number. It kept us hooked right from its sizzling sound even before reaching the table to finishing the last bite of the garlic noodles, veg fried rice, french fries, stir fried vegetables and oyster chilli sauce! Steamy, hot, at least even after we completed the photo session. . Sizzling Brownie - does it need a description? We looooooove it. Don't we? Well, senna graciously left it all for Anna to enjoy as she hates chocolate.

Talking about the ambience and vibe.. good music, ambience, alcohol and good food is what makes us come back to Pop Tate's. We had, Continental Stir Fry: Exotic veggies and sprouts stir fried in flavourful chilli oyster sauce. Nice crunchy flavoured veggies made the dish a great starter with medium spice level. Farm House Pizza: Base not so thin or thick, fresh bread with jalepenos, olives, onion, corn and bell pepper. super fresh and soft pizza. Loved it. Virgin Mojito: Tasted usual. Was a bit on the sweeter side. Chicken Steak Sizzler : Chicken patty steak with sunny side up along with the garlic pepper sauce was simply yumm.. the sauce was the stand out and just made the chicken tastier. It was accompanied with cheesey corn, french fries, sauteed veggies and stuffed bell pepper. Italian Crush with Italian BBQ Chicken Sizzler: BBQ chicken with penne pasta in tangy red sauce along with potato wedges, sauteed veggies. I personally felt the chicken tasted better with the sauce we got with the Chicken steak sizzler. Maybe the veg version could have tasted better with the cheese balls instead of chicken. I felt it was a average dish. Sizzling Brownie : The visit to Poptates must end with the sizzling brownie.. atleast when there are company with you.. it never disappoints you. Even though they had included Caramel custard in their menu, we skipped it for the sizzling Brownie.
Anyhow it was a delightful experience today. Would love to...
Β Β Β Read moreI have been to Pop Tates before also but this is not upto what all others have been, ambience is good, crowd is good though found some in smoking zone those keep staring at others. Waiters were not upto mark and seemed less coordinated. I tried red wine, chicken periperi kabab, butter garlic prawns, pepper blasted chicken Chicken periperi kabab - compete failure to what actually dish taste like , what they gave was just cooked chicken in sticks , was not at all tandoored and we had to ask them to get grilled. Taste was no good and not at all worth the money please don't buy it. Butter garlic prawns - kind of liked this dish and actually only dish that I liked here is this one. Was not spicy at all and prawns did have the taste though the quantity is bit below line. Pepper blasted chicken - yet another failed try, don't know what kind of pepper are they using it didn't taste like pepper used was of any quality, had no spice at all just the name and price that's what this dish was. But was looking better than periperi chicken . Red wine - for wine lovers just a request is that don't buy wine here what they serve is 250rs wine at 700rs rate. Cheap wine at higer rate, worst part is that they even didn't remove the price tag from...
