Rangoli Restrobar — Restaurant in Dombivali

I, with my family visited this Restaurant for the first time on Saturday, 13th. It was around 10.30 pm.

The service executives were polite. Was happy that the owner himself, with the smiling face, came to the table and greeted us. He also offered some complimentary cherries for my grandson.

We ordered the following and found everthing to be good. Only here my suggestion should be taken as a step for improvement and I am certainly not saying about quality of food.

Veg Monchow soup. Hot and tasty Masala papad - spicy and tasty Corn veg cutlets - crisp, hot and tasty Pahadi Kabab - though good, it slipped my expectations. It had excess masala. The chicken cubes could have been bigger (I am telling from my experience of having tasted pahadi kababs at Abhinandan, Ghatkopar where I was staying earlier) Chicken gravy - good in taste. Chicken quality could have been a shade better. Butter Rotis - here i must say that they were not steaming hot. Possibly, it was late at 11.30 pm Dal Fry - could have been more spicy and thick Sizzling Brownie - perfect and no fault could be found.

This is one of the most underrated restraunt in dombivli. Yes when I am giving four stars it's not just for the food but it includes everything. The initiative which the owner takes to ensure that his customers have a great and satisfying experience is something which is so rare to see. This is one udipi resturant owner who gives a damn about the customers and the food he serves. Its a quite place with very beautiful ambience. Extra polite waiters and other staff in the AC section which is located on the first floor. Rangoli certainly requires more support from the end of the customers as this is one place which really does serve good food with exceptional taste. It's been 15 years me and my family use to dine in this restaurant on almost all the occassions....be it my birthday, my mom dad's anniversary & their birthdays, festivals. The food and service use to be top notch. 7 years back we shifted to Kharghar but we made it a point to visit this place for dinner whenever we are in Dombivli for shopping. But now the service and quality of food have deteriorated to the extreme level. We just had our dinner today and the food quality was pathetic. The owner use to come to everyones table to ensure the food quality and service was ok or not which is now missing. I hope they come out with some unique strategy to regain their customers or else they are gonna loose their brand value sooner than they would expect....
