Drool Fresh — Restaurant in Dwarka

I visit Drool Fresh often because its the only Cafe available at a Metro station in Dwarka. But their Air-conditioning is always in a state of repair or disfunctional, it has happened THRICE that we have had to sit and eat in the heat, in peak summer!

Also, they seem to have hired a Raj-Mistry for their renovations instead of an Architect, because the Counter at the window work-space does not have enough "Leg-space" (height) to put your legs in and sit comfortably. Consequently the window work-space is un-usable and empty most of the time.

They also don't have Internet/ Wifi which is surprising for a Cafe, but thankfully now there is DMRC Wifi (though Slow)

The other pet peeve I have here is that they have blocked all the Windows so you cant look outside and do people watching - which is part of international cafe culture. They are gradually converting it into typical Delhi punjabi restaurant which is disappointing.

However Food is good, esp the Fish fingers and the Baked Basa......Does not serve Alcohol, only Beer.

If they hire a decent architect (instead of a Rajmistry) to correct their interiors, and get their Air-conditioner to work sometimes, it could be a great place! Too bad,...

I went to drool sec 13 Dwarka on 29th may , when IPL final was going on with my friend. I ordered some food and cold coffee and was having a good time with my friend and watching the match. There was less crowd,And people were sitting and working without ordering for quite some time. After my food was over , we just sat for sometime to watch the match. I don't know what was the manager(or a waiter in white shirt idk, with little beard) thinking, hr comes up and asks if we were done and would like the bill, first i said fine get the bill, then i thought of staying as 2-3 overs were left for the first innings. So i ordered a coffee. I mean the way he asked us was clearly showing that he wanted us to leave i don't know why , when we had already ordered something and couldn't we just sit for sometime without ordering, it wasn't as if there was a waiting.This made me feel not welcome there due to that one person.I visited regularly Drool but now i don't feel like it. Food is fine, hot coffee isn't good, cold...

I'm a regular to this place, but today I was disappointed. We were here to celebrate the birthday of an elder in the family but the food came in three installments. The main course for our guests came with a wait of around 42 minutes and the bonus was dal makhni instead of dal tadka, which caused additional wait. This is not how we would like to celebrate a special day of our family elder in a restaurant. The amount of time we waited we could have actually cooked at home.

The second bonus we got was a 7% service charge added shamelessly to our bill, for what?? Probably for the above service. :-(

Last month we had service issues in Sector 10, today here.

I know the social media manager / owner will send an apology note showing that they do care but actually their apology is meaningless and now I can imagine that they don't...
