If you’re looking for a masterclass in arrogance and poor service, Mayfair Dwarka is the place to be.
Booking Adventure: Calling their “official” number is like trying to reach the Prime Minister’s Office—always busy. So, I tried the old-fashioned way: walked up to the reception (yes, still in my gym attire because I came straight from workout). Enter Vijay the Manager, who clearly missed his true calling as a High Court judge. He refused to even jot down my name for a reservation, instead suggesting I use Swiggy or Zomato. Reason? None, unless “because I said so” counts. Apparently, writing names on slips of paper is beneath him. Lesson learned: don’t you dare show up in casual clothes, or you’ll be judged harder than at a fashion show.
Arrival & Treatment: Once you actually get a booking (through an online app, since Vijay won’t help), the place makes sure you know your worth. If you’re not a VIP, politician, or dripping in luxury brands, prepare to be invisible. Look like a normal human being? Sorry—you don’t make the cut.
Cuisine (or Lack Thereof): I ordered two chicken appetizers. Both came with a special house recipe: half-cooked chicken. Truly innovative—I never knew raw poultry was a delicacy. Thank you, Mayfair, for this enlightening culinary experience. Who needs proper cooking when you can gamble with salmonella?
Ambience: Non-smoker? Non-drinker? Congratulations, you’ve just downgraded yourself to “irrelevant.” The vibe screams: “If you’re not here to get drunk or light up, why are you even here?”
The Grand Finale – Billing: When the bill finally arrived, it was handed over as if I were a third-class peasant intruding in their royal court. Truly the cherry on top of an already humiliating evening.
Final Thoughts: So, if you dream of being judged for your clothes, ignored for not being a VIP, fed raw chicken, and billed like a beggar—Mayfair Dwarka is tailor-made for you. Otherwise, save your dignity (and stomach) and pick literally any other place...
Read moreThe best part of this place is their food. We order two starters paneer chilli and paneer tikka, and for dinner dal makhni , dal tadka, paneer lajwaab, malai kofta , jeera rice and breads. Food was delicious but their malai kofta is not very good as we expected it was extra sweet and too much flavored with cardamom. But overall food is very good. They gave us brownie and ice cream complimentary coz it was my husband’s bday..
Now the part which i dont appreciate is when we reached at the entry the person name Mah escorted us to the table which was outside and we requested for indoor but he said no without checking…later on one more guy came and ask if we need help so we requested again for place inside for which he said sure and went inside for clearing table for us. But this guy mah came and stopped him and said which i heard he was constantly saying no to him and came to us that no we don’t have place at this time i lost my cool and told him why are you stopping everyone to give us good place to enjoy our food he said no no people will come and will fight with me. Well we don’t wanted to create an issue so we all started ordering but the moment food came big size insects started jumping on us near the food when we asked waiter to help we cant have dinner like this ..guest what they gave us the table inside which was first guy trying to give us.. we all picked our stuff and moved inside.. so my question is why Mr Ma*h ruined our evening like this.. other than that food , ambience, music , place everything was very good. But for service I...
