I recently had the pleasure of staying at Radisson Blu Hotel, New Delhi Dwarka, and I must say that it was an experience that exceeded my expectations in many ways. This hotel is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience, and I am thrilled to share my detailed review.
Location and Accessibility
One of the most significant advantages of staying at Radisson Blu is its location in Dwarka, one of the most well-connected areas of New Delhi. The hotel is just a short drive away from the Indira Gandhi International Airport, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. Additionally, it is well-connected to other parts of the city via the Dwarka Metro Station, making it easy to explore the capital. Whether you’re here for a business meeting or a family vacation, the location is incredibly convenient.
First Impressions and Ambiance
As soon as I walked into the Radisson Blu, I was immediately struck by the grand entrance and the modern yet elegant décor. The lobby exudes luxury, with high ceilings, contemporary furniture, and tasteful artwork. The staff at the reception desk were incredibly welcoming and efficient, making check-in a breeze. The overall ambiance of the hotel is calm and soothing, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of New Delhi.
Room Quality and Comfort
I stayed in one of the Deluxe Rooms, and I was very impressed with the space and comfort it offered. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had no trouble getting a good night’s sleep. The room had a modern design, with sleek furniture, a large flat-screen TV, and a minibar stocked with a selection of beverages and snacks. The bathroom was equally impressive, with a rain shower, luxurious toiletries, and soft, fluffy towels. The attention to detail in the room’s design and cleanliness was top-notch, making it feel like a home away from home.
Service Excellence
What truly set Radisson Blu apart was the exceptional service. The staff were consistently polite, professional, and eager to assist with anything I needed. From the concierge team helping me with local recommendations to the room service staff bringing up food promptly and with a smile, every interaction I had with the hotel staff was positive. Special mention to Rahul Yadav and Neeraj Pandey, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The service here truly elevates the overall experience, making it feel personalized and exclusive.
Dining Experience
The hotel offers a variety of dining options, and I had the pleasure of experiencing both. The buffet breakfast at the all-day dining restaurant was fantastic, with a wide range of dishes catering to both continental and Indian tastes. There was something for everyone – from freshly baked croissants and cereals to dosas, parathas, and traditional Indian curries. The quality and taste of the food were outstanding, and the staff were attentive, ensuring that everything was well-stocked.
I also dined at the hotel’s specialty restaurants, where I had a chance to try some Indian delicacies. The food was rich in flavor, with generous portions. The chefs here do a fantastic job of preparing food that reflects the true essence of Indian cuisine. The service was prompt, and the wait staff were always attentive without being intrusive.
Facilities and Amenities
The hotel offers a wide range of facilities that make it suitable for both business and leisure guests. The gym is well-equipped, and the spa provides a relaxing escape after a long day of sightseeing or work. There is also a large outdoor pool, perfect for unwinding in the evening. The business center is well-appointed, and the hotel offers meeting rooms and event spaces for corporate gatherings, making it a great option for...
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience - One of the worst experiences one could ever wish for. Booked a room at the Radission Blu Dwarka on 20th April 2025 and I wish I never chose this hotel to stay, in the first place. We checked in around 6 pm and found that the AC in the room was barely cooling the room, we waited for a while before we informed the front desk and duty manager about the issue. After sometime we left the room and went to have our dinner around 8:30 PM and came back to our room around 11 PM. I again waited for a while to see if the AC cools the room and reported the issue to the front desk and duty manager around 12 midnight, the front desk assured us to get the issue resolved ASAP. Not getting any response from them even after multiple calls and reminders, a technician finally came to my room around 3 AM and tried to check for the issue for about 30 mins opening the AC duct inside the room. The technician was unable to detect any issues after multiple attempts and now Its around 4 am and we havn't been able to get any sleep till now becasue of this issue. After multiple requests to the front desk and the duty manager to change our room and after getting no response, an on-duty house-keeping staff promptly helped us to move to a different room which had proper cooling. But again, we could only sleep for a few hours as the room next to our newly allotted room was under renovation and the drilling and renovation work started in the room next to our room since 8:30-9:00 am. We had to wake up because of these loud noises and left for our breakfast around 9:30, and the staff in the breakfast lounge was again very unprofessional and was not serving us anything that we requested for, on the live counters. After this, I went to the front desk to report about these issues that we had surfaced during the whole day and night and the fron desk was least bothered to cater to this issue as there were a lot of people waiting to check-in at the same time. One of the front desk executives connected me to the Duty manager and as he listened to my experience, he apoplogised for the inconvinience we had faced during our stay and offered us to include lunch in our current stay which we couldn't take as we had to leave to board our flight so he (Adarsh And Saurabh Kumar - Duty Managers) assured me to upgrade my room from a basic superior room to the best suite room available on my next booking at radisson blue dwarka, so I requested him (Adarsh) to send this offer to me over an email which he assured to send to me on my email. After 2-3 reminders, he kept saying that he is currently busy with other guests but will surely share this upgraded offer with me in an hour. By the time we checked out (Around 2 PM - 21st April), he didn't send me any upgrade on my email yet, till the time i am writing this review (12:45 AM - 22nd April). It feels, the hotel staff which is actually responsible for smooth functioning and hospitality is not really interested in listening to any of the issues faced during their guests stay and let them stay as it is in the middle of the night, while the house-keeping/cleaning staff was courteous enough to understand the issue, and help us move to a different room ASAP. I am sure this was my last stay at the Radission Blu Dwarka and I am definitely not recommending this hotel to anybody around me ever, while I am also sure that such reviews dont make any difference to their ridiculous and ignorant behaviour towards their guests and the promises they make just to avoid facing the guests having any complaints... and this review too will not bring any...
Read moreA Disastrous Stay at Radisson Blu Dwarka -I recently had the most disappointing experience at Radisson Blu, Dwarka, Room number 1001 and I can confidently say that it does not deserve its 5-star reputation. While the hotel may have the infrastructure and ambience of a high-end establishment, the service, hospitality, and overall experience are nothing more than a poorly managed 3-star hotel at best.
Terrible Hospitality & Unprofessional Staff
One of the biggest letdowns was the lack of proper service and hospitality. It seemed like the hotel was completely dependent on interns who had little to no training in handling guests. The staff was clueless about basic hotel operations, including restaurant services, room service, and even basic hospitality etiquette. Whenever we asked for anything, the response was either delayed, confused, or outright ignored.
Horrible Restaurant Experience – A Complete Mess
The Spring Restaurant was a complete disaster. The food was not just below average; it was terrible. On top of that, service was painfully slow, and the staff had no idea about the menu items. We had to wait an unreasonably long time for our orders, and even when the food finally arrived, it was either cold, bland, or poorly prepared. It’s shocking that a 5-star hotel can have such an incompetent dining service.
Room Service? What Room Service?
Another major disappointment was room service. It was practically non-existent. No matter how many times we called for assistance, whether it was for extra towels, cleaning, or food, the response time was abysmal. On several occasions, our requests were completely ignored.
Poorly Managed Facilities – Room Key, Bathroom, and More
If that wasn’t bad enough, the room key kept malfunctioning, and we had to go down to the reception multiple times to get it fixed. The bathrooms were also not up to the mark—the cleanliness was questionable, the amenities were inadequate, and the maintenance was poor.
Unresponsive Management – They Simply Don’t Care
The worst part of this entire experience was the hotel management’s lack of responsibility. We tried to bring up our concerns, but they didn’t seem interested in resolving any issues. There was no sense of accountability, and guests were simply left to deal with problems on their own.
Final Verdict: Avoid at All Costs
Radisson Blu Dwarka is a classic case of a hotel that looks 5-star but operates worse than a budget hotel. The poor service, terrible restaurant experience, inefficient room service, and unresponsive management make this place an absolute disaster. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-managed luxury stay in Delhi, look elsewhere—because this hotel is NOT...
