Booked for a party, overall food tasted good with some items such as Pizza and hara bhara kabab being exceptional as well. However, service went horribly wrong this time with multiple servings of starters not being warm and there was an overall delay and non-transparency in service. Soup was nowhere to be seen until we pointed out the same though I would have expected it to be either made avilable on the serving station or proactively served along with starters.
Chef Pradeep had already shared a pic of the cake with us before the start of the party. At around 9pm, we confirmed with the on duty manager if the cake was delivered to which he informed us that it has been delivered and is all fine. However, our cake was smudged by the staff while handling and it had to be sent back to sector 13 for the chef to redo the finishing (all this happened between 10-10:15pm). The on duty manager at Drool kitchen did not communicate transparently on the amount of time it will take to have the cake fixed and rather for good 30+ mins that it has been fixed and will be here in few mins. To add at the onset, he pretended as if nothing was wrong with the cake at all and then at one point he made a statement, "sir, itna bhi kharab nahi hai cake" even though it was smudged from at least 5 different places with the frosting giving way to the cake bread. The cake was eventually delivered at 11:40pm.
While we waited for the cake to be fixed, repeated requests were made to serve maincourse in the interim to ensure guests are not sitting idle but it appeared as if his focus was elsewhere. We started requesting for maincourse to be served approximately around 10:30pm but it was finally served at around 11:30pm only that too when I finally had to request to make me speak with the owner at 11:20pm.
Overall, a pathetic experience this time but still giving 3 stars as my earlier dine in experience was much better.
I must appreciate chef Pradeep who baked the cake and did an awesome job in bringing the cake back to its original glory despite the staff mishandling the same. I would also appreciate Mr. Rahul who was representing the owner and came in around 11:45pm, post which there was a visible difference in the level of service and urgency in serving hot...

Read moreWent to drool kitchen for the 1st time to attend a birthday party. This was arranged at the back area with a seating of 15-20 people. Insides of the restaurant are better. AC is not effective in this place where seating is available. Too hot and humid. Service is very slow and poor. Food is below average. They had kebabs, hariyali paneer, honey chilli potatoes, pizza, spring rolls in veg starters. Kebab were too bland and dry, paneer was not good, honey chilly potatoes was too hard and no taste. Pizza crust was bad like hard and stretchy.Spring rolls were average. Mock tails were not good. In the main course dal had no taste. Paneer veg was too bad. Thin slices of paneer barely few then they are adding raw paneer in gravy. Paneer kofta hard and too sweet gravy. Mix vegetable was not good either. Chapatis..paper thin. Naan was rubbery. Icecream had ice crystals. Overall poor food poor experience. Service was such that they are not even serving water. Pizzas were asked for but not given. Tea was served but it was too sweet. Usually you serve sugar on the side but here it was already mixed. On complaining the server is arguing that we had not told him. 5 times we told him to serve sugarless tea with sweetener separately. But when they got tea again it was the same tea with some added milk and more sugar. I don’t know why did serve us the same tea with added milk again and sugar when it was told repeatedly to get sugar on the side. When we complained the 2nd time they never got the tea again. In fact the server was debating on this issue. Ddnt like the place, food or service. I complained about the AC not being effective but no one bothered. There was no scooper to serve icecream. They are using a spoon and bare hands. On asking the server said ‘pata nhn aj scoopers kahan chale gaye..mil hi nahin rahe’. Veggies in the main course were...
