Punjab Grill Shipra Mall — Restaurant in Ghaziabad

I had dinner there with my family. Below are the point because of which I have given 1 star rating to the restaurant. Taste was not good. We ordered Chicken changezi, dal, kadhai Paneer, raita etc. other than Dal, nothing was good. Everything was having tangi flavour. Rates are too high for all the items. Even dal was for 600 plus taxes. Is we are paying this much then we expect great taste and service. Service was too slow and more often it looked like waiters don't even care what customer wants. You have to call them multiple times just to ask for basic things like water or onion. It was not rush at that time so it can't be said that it happened because of rush. Quantity was too less. I believe half chicken changezi means that it will have 4 pieces and full will have 8 pieces. So I order half, it had only 2 small pieces. At max it can serve one and if a person is having good diet then it can't even serve 1 person. Based on price quantity was too less. Music was too loud. It gives you headache. If we are going in a fine dining restaurant then there should be soft music in which we can enjoy our food. But it was so loud that you wish to leave that place ASAP.

Located in between the masti zone and the food court, this punjabi grill restaurant draws the attention of every one with its brand and the look. We visited today, ordered kadai panner, butter chicken, tandoori roti, rumali roti, plain curd, steam rice and classic virgin mojito. Service speed was ok and they informed us about the preparation time at the time of taking the order itself. Kadai paneer and butter chicken were good but there wasn't a good big piece of chicken and what I received was few small pieces despite charging me Rs. 545 just for the dish. Rotis were good, curd was tasty and the best part was the classic virgin mojito which tasted yummy. They were kind enough to pack us the remaining food and also provided us finger bowls at the end, on request. The total bill was Rs 2500+, which included Rs. 200+ as a staff contribution charge. They politely waived off the charge on request and the final bill came out to be Rs 2200+. At the end, they gave us few ml of tandai as a complimentary but was superb. They also provided us a special high chair, separate plates and spoons for my kid on request. They have a restroom within the restaurant which is maintained well. Came with my family and relatives for dinner. Ordered what was recommended by our steward plus chefs special.

Food Mutton seek kebab were the only highlight of our starters. AND NOTHING ELSE. Belive me when i say this, nothing else came close to tasting average and leave it being good. Whether its veg or non-veg nothing.

Main course was served after a looonnnggg waiting timing which i specifically asked to be quick.

Taste - Requested to be adjusted according to our likings. Didn't received one and you won't get one either so choose wisely. Specifically asked to tune the spice level up, result disappointing. Naan were charcoal burned. Panner masala was tasteless.

Service - when one gets the time to observe, they get to know alot of stuff, all we were served was waiting time. Literally the steward was hiding faces form us, food came dry, stale and non-editable. On complaining, and returning the food it came with even more delay and tasteless. Manager won't respond to our complaints.

Ambience - Good

Overall - won't recommend. Overpriced. Absolute no on weekends. Full rush for no reason and lack of management. Doesn't deserve 4/5 star rating.
