Tangerine — Restaurant in Ghaziabad

REACH - Firstly, one of the most strange thing about this place is that if incase you are at the Mahagun Mall and decide to dine here, then you will have to exit the mall and go all the way out in the heat just to walk towards the entrance of this place. And upon returning from here if it gets past 10:30 PM, and you happen to have parked your vehicle in the mall basement, then you will not be allowed entry back in to the mall. You will be asked to walk to your car from the road. This is absurd, they should have an entry and exit from the mall itself. Or do they don't intend to cater to the mall public? 0 Star AMBIENCE - The restaurant was well decorated due to an on going Baisakhi celebration. Otherwise the interiors are pretty normal. Nothing fancy or fine dining kind. Most of the gentry are the guests who are staying at the main hotel Sarovar Portico. 1 star SERVICE - The worst service I have seen in my honest opinion. The waiters were speaking rudely and upon asking for refilling of water, which itself should have been done, the waiters were like "Haan, laa raha hu na!" Often there were moments when there was absolutely no one there to even tend to any requests. 0 Star FOOD - They have a buffet only. Eat their "Biryani" or "Pulao" at your own risk. It was smelling stale. The rice were stuck in lumps and seemed like cold rice has been served in the buffet. The "Chicken Tikka" and The "Paneer Tikka" were very tasty. The "Masala Fish" was very nice and must try their "Sweet Lassi". But their desserts were awful. The "Chocolate Ice Cream" tasted like mud. Still 1 star for the good stuff. Wonderful Family Dinner at Tangerine

Frankly, I was quite sceptical about choosing a restaurant which I had never visited myself nor heard anyone's review. But, discussion over phone while booking enquiries, I got confidence the way Mr Pramod explained everything about the restaurant, the spread and the ambience. He even shared pictures on my request. We were a group of over 30 persons and everyone loved dining at Tangerine. The ambience of the restaurant is impressive, the food was awesome and the service was the highlight. Each guest received complete attention from the Managers and staff namely Ankit, Charnda Shweta, Rahul, Pramod,Chandra Shekhar Belwal, Kamlesh and Anil. Time wastage, money wastage and no taste at all... We had ordered soup, zaffrani paneer Tikka and Mojito... Got complementary papad basket in which the white ones were soggy... So just left the papad basket as it is... The Hot and Sour soup was just OK types... The paneer Tikka was not hot... The service was pathetically slow...
