Urban Punjab — Restaurant in Ghaziabad

Urban Punjab is a decent eatery. The food served is good in taste. The place is frequented by small office teams during the day and by families from nearby apartments in the evening. My experience at this place is mixed. When I entered the place, two shabbily dressed boys were there at a table just outside the main entrance. One boy was dicing the onions for salad and other boy was filling the spray bottles with window cleaning chemical. The liquid chemical was spilt on the table and at the same spot the boy was dicing the onions. The sight prevented me from picking onions from the salad. At the noon time they do not take orders for any snacks made with fish or mutton. So it was a disappointment as I am a non-vegetarian who does not eat chicken. I ordered chilli mushrooms which were good in taste. Later we ordered Beli Mutton for main course which again was good in taste, though not wow as claimed by the attendant. Visited today for dinner after seeing sign board since last 1year and checking reviews here. Inside room was okay for the location they have. Food was close to being pathetic. Veg platter quantity was decent but tasteless. Chaap and seekh kabab were the worst we had ever in life. We went to Yellow chili yesterday for dinner so we're recalling how good veg platter was there.

Ordered Malai kofta, kulcha for dinner. Malai koftas were hard with nothing filled inside. Right koftas are melt-in-mouth but alas. Check attached pic for kofta. Overall bad food. Not coming again.

I visited Urban Punjab's dine in space for dinner with my family on the occasion of my wife's birthday and the pathetic experience i had, the hall was highly suffocated. Staff started the years old a.c which thrown dust first and then water leakage started from a.c Still we managed to had dinner but later on order was started getting delayed and the reason was more orders to them. Later on when we complained this to the owner, he used his marketing techniques and made us fool. I know Urban Punjab is expanding their business but none of the business will scale with this kind of attitude. Hope, they will get a good lesson very soon.
