Al Akbar Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

Over hyped restaurant, I was in Goa for 2 days and I ordered food from them for my lunch and dinner. Believe me...total disaster....since I m from Mumbai I found out that they are no match as far as taste and professionalism is concerned. Crispy Chicken was too spicy, my baby of 6 yrs old cannot eat anything from it.Too oily and full of chilly. Now...it's Shawarma....nowhere in the world they put full green chilly in the Shawarma...and these people they put 2 big green chillies in Shawarma...and again it went down in dust bin as it was impossible to eat that fiery hot burning 🔥Shawarma. I called up to them and they told me that Goan likes to eat in that way.....Disaster!!! I will never eat anything in future from these overhyped and unfriendly restaurant. I regret ordering from this restaurant, since Google has a lots of paid reviews for this particular restaurant. Moreover they are having a promotion printed all over the restaurant that they will give Free Coupons for good reviews in Google. What does it mean? Give good reviews and get Coupons worth 300/200/100 coupons. Google should take this restaurant from their top 10 best...

Best place for lunch ,dinner ,a quick bite and even takeaway Tried the below items 1: Chicken popcorn with garlic sauce (5/5) 2: Al Faham Half Plate with garlic sauce(5/5) 3: Mutton Biryani (3/5) The quantity isn't satisfactory At all and the mutton pieces weren't that great and rice aswell was less and not worthy the price..... (stick with the chicken biryani oly)

A small let down i would like to mention is the salad in the al Faham plate didn't look fresh at all and the mutton proper pieces were oly two the rest didn't seem right and four pieces in total two stars down coz of this reason

I tend to always take away their fried chicken bucket combos ..which are totally worth the price and satisfactory Schwarma is available aswell which is pretty good Google pay and cash...

If you're craving delicious shawarma, chicken popcorn, chicken gravies, naan, or chicken strips, this place offers decent food, but the overall experience is far from ideal. While the dishes are flavorful, the staff's attitude leaves much to be desired. The service could definitely use some improvement in terms of friendliness and attentiveness.

On top of that, hygiene is a serious concern here. I've spotted cockroaches running across the floor during my visit, which raises major doubts about the cleanliness of the kitchen. If you're someone who values hygiene and a clean environment, this might not be the place for you.

In short, the food may satisfy your cravings, but the poor hygiene and lack of good customer service make it hard...
