BarSogo — Restaurant in Goa

I had the pleasure of lunching at Bar Sogo and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The highlight of my visit was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Rohan Alvice. His professionalism, pleasant demeanor, and extensive knowledge about the menu items and cocktails truly enhanced our dining experience.

Rohan went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of throughout our meal. He provided excellent recommendations, guiding us through the menu with expertise and offering insightful suggestions for both food and drinks. His attention to detail and genuine passion for hospitality were evident in every interaction we had with him.

Furthermore, Rohan maintained a perfect balance between attentiveness and allowing us to enjoy our meal at our own pace. He was always available when needed, yet never intrusive, which contributed to the overall relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

In addition to Rohan's outstanding service, the food at Bar Sogo was delicious and the cocktails were expertly crafted. The ambiance was inviting, with a charming decor and comfortable seating arrangements.

Overall, I highly recommend Bar Sogo to anyone visiting Goa, especially for those seeking exceptional service. Kudos to Rohan Alvice and the entire team for their commitment to excellence. I look forward to...

So Go....So So So Good!

Impeccable service, delicious tasty food and a marvellous setting with a lovely view from the picture windows! A must for when you are in South Goa.

My husband and I have been for lunch several times, and we both agree that the food, service, and ambience have been consistently good every time. The staff are professional, polite, and discreet and know when to top up the water glasses and when to clear the table when you have finished.

We had the hipster salad, which is perhaps the best salad I have ever had. I ask for it with toasted sweetcorn, and it is fresh, colourful, and a party for your tastebuds.

We also had the Aglio Oili, simple linguini or spaghetti dish with olive oil, basil, cheese, and garlic. Simply delicious!

To top it off, the flour less chocolate cake, although not with mascarpone cheese as described but with cream, is just divine. I would have this every day if my hips would allow it.

We have also tried the Bailey's chocolate mousse desert. Also divine and a must! Yummm 😋 !

So [why not] Go and try it out?? Highly recommended and one of the better restaurants...

Sogo Bar and Grill has been on our ‘to visit’ list for a long time! We finally made it to Varca and used our one open meal to head there!

From the time we entered, the staff was incredibly welcoming and competent! They gave us indoor or outdoor seating options both of which were great! With the outdoor one overlooking beautiful fields!

The cocktails blew our mind! My husband had two cocktails - both of which he declared were the best he’s ever had in his life! (One of which wasn’t even on the menu yet, but that the incredible head bartender made for him!)

The food was absolutely delicious too! We loved the boneless chicken wings - though wish there were a few more pieces of that!

The quantity of everything else we ate was great! Had a delicious steak, with some of the best jus ever!

And some really delicious aglio olio!

The flourless chocolate cake with mascarpone and berry compote was also divine!

Would 💯percent recommend you visit this place - it’s even worth a special trip down from north Goa...
