Read moreFood is decent with a bad management . It ruined my celebration.
We went there to celebrate my birthday along with a kid. The restaurant is fully closed with only air circulation being the AC. Unfortunately the AC had some problems and was not working. This was not informed to US in the beginning, we were told about this when I had to turn on the AC. There was no alternative to the AC. Not even a fan was arranged or they did not bother to shift us to other place where there were some arrangements. My kid was feeling hot and was constantly crying. We used a hand fan to calm her down. This is basics for any hotel management. When we asked for fan they told us to talk to the reception and we asked for owner name they arranged the fan after the last order was served. Felt cheated for the price I paid due to this bad management( had to pay the price for AC service when AC is not working). The owner should look into this ASAP and fix such mismanagement.
On the service part, we were the only table that was occupied, the server vanished in the middle of the service. When we asked to serve the dish he went away . We. Had to serve ourselves. The bartender was unable even out mocktails were late . No finger bowl was given at the end. No washbasin is present at the restaurant. Has to use what was in the...
Read moreSummary: good place to have great food and hospitality.
Wanted to give 4.5 but no .5 point so gave a critical 4.
Pros: Food was good, no doubt about it. Great hospitality, extremely friendly staff. good food options, unfortunately, the kitchen for Chinese was under maintenance so couldn’t offer much. But we were happy to order what was options were given.
Cons: had ordered manchow soup, which was good but I’ve drank better in Goa itself.(so this could be more specific to tongue) the curry we ordered was Paneer handi, which had mix veg curry as well. The curry itself was good, but the cauliflower(gobhi) in that tasted like it was not part of the dish. I’d say the curry will taste very nice without that, gobhi did leave a sour taste in mouth. price for 2.5 people is around 1500+ for chips, starter, soup, roti, curry and fried rice. I’d reckon it would be extremely good if there was buffet option for lunch.
Do try the place before believing any reviews, but the positive reviews are indeed right. So do try even if you are non vegetarian or just want to try some good vegetarian...
