Arrived to a full restaurant, no problem as we were told to go sit at a dark table out the way at the back and when a table came available, we would get it so we ordered a beer.
Sat and watched one table leave and another couple come in and take it, without the staff doing anything about it. My wife went over and spoke to a member of staff, but we still had to wait further still.
Ok so another table came free, this time we took the table and sat down. Ordered another drink and looked at food menu.
We ordered a Chicken Fajita dish and a Chicken Schnitzel dish, along with 2 more drinks.
Yes it was busy, but we had at least an hour wait for the food since arriving, and more drinks whilst waiting.
Food arrived, first was the Schnitzel.. decent size, sadly came with undercooked chips and half a plate of bland salad.
Another 10 minutes passed before the Chicken Fajitas arrived, first a plate with some rice and salad, small pile of grated cheese and sour cream which was disguised as curd, a salsa that was like watery tomato soup and 2 tiny wraps!
Then the Chicken arrived, sizzing along as a normal sizzler would be wrapped in a cabbage leaf...
Sadly it was mostly veg, think there was 5 small bits of chicken and cooked in sauce that was absolutely nothing like fajita, no spice to it, no flavour and just a bland gravy.
I put the small amount of chicken on each small wrap, a handful of veg and ate that.
Waiter eventually came over after we had to ask him to, no one checked to make sure the food was good... told him to take it away as it was bad.
Asked for the bill, didn't come so went up to pay for it... took around 10 minutes just for him to work it out, still had the cheek to charge the full amount, despite me telling him again it was bad and a female sitting behind the desk just looked on, bosses wife am not sure?
Shame as we had been here before last year and again this year, but won't be back... it's...

Read moreThe Bees Knees is my absolute favorite café in Arambol—and I don’t say that lightly.
I lived in Goa for three years, and this was hands down the one place I kept going back to, again and again.
The food is super affordable and genuinely good. I especially loved their Mexican, English, and Indian menus.
My top picks? Fish Thali, Burrito, Enchilada, Quesadilla, Chicken Pizza, Dawai Chicken Platter, and Hummus with Pita Bread—so good!
The vibe is always warm and welcoming, thanks to the super friendly staff, including the wonderful host, Mr. Abhay.
It’s no surprise this place is a hit with foreigners too—the food really suits their palate.
I only wish I had more photos on my new phone to share—but trust me when I say: Highly recommend The Bees Knees if you’re...
