Coming to Goa from Mumbai we searched for authentic breakfast places and came across this 102 year old joint cafe bhonsale in few blogs and reviews famous for the Goan morning snack of bhaji with bread or Puri . We travelled for 15km from North Goa to this place in the morning. Waiter did not have time even to give menu card and he took a few orders of his own. On asking we received the menu card and we saw that bhaji with Puri option had bhaji written as patal bhaji, sukki bhaji, salad , usal. Knowing little bit of English we thought it's some kind of snack thali consisting all in some quantity. On serving we received the Puri (3 nos) and small plate of bhaji (mix of usal and potato). When asked if that is what is mentioned in menu he says yes and that's our style of writing menu :p Coming to food: we ordered two plates of bhaji with Puri and chapati, mirchi bhaji and bun. Bhaji did not have much taste (may be that's diff in prep) , quantity very less and more importantly hardly anything to stand out.(3/5) Puri was fluffy less oily Mirch bhajji was dipped in oil with large coating of besan and we had to literally leave it (1/5) Banana flavoured bun was interesting and only best part of not so good breakfast. It’s very old, we always come here to have Mix Bhaji Pav or Salad Bhaji. Only thing these days their Pao is not consistent and not at all good. But Buns is alternate for it.

People also come here specially for Samosa.

One thing is strange is they only give single tissue paper person. Great way of reducing unnecessary loss. They have the quickest service. No matter how much crowded some one will come moment you get comfortable on seat. Even though different people sit on same sit they very well manage it.
