Cafe Delicieux — Restaurant in Goa

I have been attracted to this place being French and loving good pastries and bread. Living in the area, I visited Delicieux several times over the past few years and always ended up quite disappointed by the experience. Today was the worst ever!

The food felt ok but my body told me later that actually... no!

As for the waiter honestly he is a complete idiot!! I have come to India since 2001 and travelled all over and heard a lot of non-sense when coming to restaurants. His behaviour with us was rude and careless, beyond belief!

Some of the croissants and cakes are ok. Coffee is ok-ish. But frankly in this category the area has better and certainly more pleasant places to enjoy. What a sad little place this is! AVOID. Only plus...

We have ordered 2 cappuccinos. And it was very bitter and over extracted. Clearly, the barista had no idea how to make a coffee. He pre grounded coffee beans in hopper in advance and who knows for how long were they sitting for. The lady sitting at the counter seemed very pleasing, welcoming at first. As soon, we try to give her a feedback about coffee, she turned pretensious and kept arguing with us how it is consumed to be the way they make. Inhospitable behavior. No wonder the place was completely empty. Please avoid it...

I had ordered a birthday cake, red velvet and it was delicious. Mandakini mam is so sweet and courteous. She helped me choose the cake.

The presentation and on time delivery is remarkable. I had also ordered English breakfast and ham sandwich which were also great. This is the first time I had tried ordering from a cafe like this in Goa and I must say they have exceeded my...
