Extreamly overrated place. We booked this place seeing reviews on Booking.com but it was a disappointment. The place looks bigger than it actually is in the photos etc.the outside looks very clean, but basic amenities also were not great. The entrance actually gives you a scare the first time you go as it is located in a small lane surrounded by residential houses. Though once inside, it looks much better and there is enough parking space. The reception had only 1 person who looked like a trainee. He did a decent job though. Natasha at the reception is the only sensible, trained person we met there. Our room and bathroom was ok… The towels looked shabby and old with the seams wearing out. The bathroom had no exhaust.. but a window which opened onto the backside of the hotel and we weren’t sure if we could leave it open because of people around as we were on the ground floor. There were reusable shower gel and shampoo wall mounted bottles in the bathroom with and a soap bar for the washbasin. It didn’t look like they cleaned the pot everyday of our stay too. The pool has a lovely view but has a lot of dirt. Though they try keeping it clean… it is not very clean. Same with the jacuzzi. But the view is awesome. Breakfast was highly okay and quality of omelette varied based on the chef! They had Indian and continental variety of breakfast on diff days - poha, upma, paratha, puri bhaji etc. and cereals, oats, eggs, fruits etc was there everyday. The inroom dining food was again okay and didn’t have any salt. We had booked an appointment at the spa but didn’t get the massage because the lady there allowed a walk in before our appointment and couldn’t take us in, which we thought was ridiculous behavior since we had booked 2 days ago. We also heard from other guests that the massage wasn’t great anyways. Also, from another conversation with the other guests, we understood that there were ants in their room and someone else who had stayed at the same location in 2019 mentioned that the place used to have amazing service which is why they came back but it had deteriorated completely. Location wise - The restaurants around the place are pretty good and you can always drive/walk down to the beach etc. so that’s good. It’s 15-20 min walk to the beach. I don’t think I would go back here to stay simply because of the service and the quality of the hotel currently. The place is great if it had been managed properly.

I enjoyed my stay here at the Acacia ocean view resort. This was near to the local surf school octopus surfocated near the sea bird cafe. Acacia had everything in place to a tee. Good quality electronics, technology, audio visuals, room furniture and lighting. The ambience of the place was simply excellent. The property had waterfalls, an infinity pool, a Spa center for massage and it also sported a Jacuzzi. Ujjwal was extremely polite and accomodating at the restaurant Toast. Srikanta was the new trainee and was just very helpful while waiting on our table. Chef Gaurav, what can I say, you cooked me kathiyawadi poori bhaji, it was the highlight of my trip man. You defintely made my day man. Ranjit was precise in taking down my requirements the night before and kept our brekfast arrangements ready well in time for us to head early to our surf classes. Khushboo from front desk promised me a chess board next time we come. Dainy was particularly helpful in my check out process. And last of all the hotelier, he is a perfectionist who paid attention to detail and quality and aesthetics and technology. Right from the concealed wiring in each room, to the wireless application sign in for the rooms, to the hotel mnagement software to the cleanliness of the area. I saw the pool being chlorinated and cleaned in the morning. It was my parents 42nd anniversary and I'm sure they were happy to stay with their stay in the resort as well. My name is malcolm fernandes and I stayed in room 205 and also took 206. I am a level 7 Google tour guide and I'm sure this recommendation will go a long way in raising the Google ranking on the search. All the best team and thank you once again.

The location was beautiful but it had its flaws. We travelled from outside of India and hoped to stay in a clean resort and enjoy our time as we attend a wedding. The staff ensured us upon arrival that they only serve filtered water bottles in the rooms. Our room had a water bottle with mold overgrowth in it which was consumed by us unknowingly. My partner had severe stomach issues the next day and had been suffering from nausea and diarrhea for 2 weeks. We both also have had sinus infection for 2 weeks. Drinking mold water can be fatal to health and is the worst sickness anyone can deal with and we had to suffer throughout the entirety of our trip. We have reached out to resort to resolve this matter but they are unresponsive. We had high expectations but don’t be fooled. I would not recommend this place to international travellers and anyone who expect to stay in a clean resort. I have attached pictures of the bottle from our room. There are black and green spores on the cap area and the bottom. Please never drink water from these bottles. I highly doubt they ever replace it or even clean them. Mold could’ve only grown to this extent if the bottle was left untouched for over a week! Absolutely horrified with how our health got destroyed by Acacia’s unhygienic practices. We had to travel back to our country to see a doctor and take time off from work to recover. Devastated financially and emotionally.

we were locked in India due to quarantine. originally came here for only 2 weeks to bask in the sun in March 2020 in Candolim. but after it announced the termination of domestic flights over India, our first hotel was closed due to a complete lack of tourists. and we could not fly away because international flights were canceled. at the same time, Mody’s recommendations were coming out that private owners should not rent apartments to tourists in order to avoid the spread of the coronovirus, and it doesn’t matter if you have just flown to India, or as we have already been here for 14 days. in general, the situation was stalemate. quite by accident at Booking com I found a Acacia hotel in Morjim that still let book a room, I call there to clarify everything: I said that I’m alone with a child, had been in India for 14 days already, And if I can check. They tell me, you can, I immediately took the first taxi, and I rushed to Acacia. the first impression I got from the reception staff was how polite, respectful, interested they were. all documents were clearly executed, and after 10 minutes I went to my room. the room is the 1st floor of a two-story wooden house with its own balcony. the hotel is small, there are no more than 15 houses, but what an elegant, stylish and very clean territory, infinite pool with an ocean view. also near the pool there are very cozy several tables and the entrance to the restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. unfortunately, in a pandemic, the spa and pool are closed, but this was more than offset by the comfortable living conditions that the hotel provided for me and my baby. each room has a rather spacious bathroom, the shower is separated by a glass partition, and water is only under the shower after you have washed, and not on the entire bathroom floor, which is not uncommon in Goan hotels. Plumbing is new, clean, cleaned regularly and thoroughly. there were no interruptions in hot water even once. we have breakfast included. Despite the full lockdown, I have never experienced in these 1.5 months, and that’s exactly how much I’m already here, due to the lack of the opportunity to fly back to Russia, any interruptions in food. while my acquaintances around goa with bulging eyes went looking for where to buy food for themselves, in Acacia hotel there was always a standard set of products: for breakfast we had porridge, eggs of any kind, pancakes, some Indian dishes, the name of which I just do not, there were always fruits: watermelon, pineapple, and there was always bread and coffee. we went out full. during the day there was also always the opportunity to order hot dishes: vegetable or meat, soups and even pizza. for me, the smooth operation of the hotel is a sign of the quality work of the hotel management. further the staff: the waiters are always very polite and quick to the reaction, the cooks have apparently adapted the dishes to the Russian cuisine, I have never had any problems than to...

I booked a stay for my anniversary weekend having heard good reviews from my family members. Stayed there for 4 nights. My overall experience was extremely disappointing. Had to change the room on first night due to noise in the AC. Second morning after complaining, someone went in our room and checked the AC without our knowledge while we were at breakfast. Second night, at 1am we got a call from resturant asking us if they could settle the remaining balance of the meal (which we had not even ordered) the next day. The restaurant called wrong room number, which was ours, and was trying to settle the bill at 1am Lastly, cherry on the cake was my parents sent us a cake for the anniversary and asked the team to send it to our room at 12am as a surprise. After confirming atleast 10 times and clearly communicating the name of the guests and the occasion, the receptionist who received the cake was still not given to us. After we came back from the trip today, is when I got to know that there was a cake which had been sent for us, which we never received. The hotel manager, Rajat was incompetent in managing his team. The receptionist was Maya and the restaurant staff was Sai. Overall poor management and extremely had hospitality. After speaking with Rajat, the manager, he told me he would provide me a solution tomorrow when he gets back to work. He said he would refund my the money for the cake, which i have not received, but expected me to not write a bad review on Google. Extremely sad to see, a decent 4 star unable to provide basic courtesy to their customers. They don't acknowledge the severity of the customer's dissatisfaction and clearly their own leaves are more important. My anniversary was completely ruined thanks to this hospitality. The cake which my parents sent could have made for a wonderful surprise but the team not only failed to deliver it till my room, let it rot in the fridge for 5 days and finally not compensate me for it. Never ever will I book this place and not recommend it to anyone as well. Special mention to Rajat for his inability to understand the gravity of the situation and for whom his own leave was more important than provide the customer with a solution. NOT RECOMMENDED TO STAY HERE!. . Update on January 8th, 2024- have received refund for the...
