#lucky'sgoodfoodline#foodlover#lunch#thai #cocothai The most authentic thai food in Goa!... Coco is a Thai chef from the isan province northeast of Thailand cooks wonderful Thai food , bubbly and an enthusiastic Chef . She has a great hand in Thai cooking and is definitely one of the few and only places for an authentic Thai meal experience. If you're adventurous and don't mind treading into uncharted spice territory you should definitely request Coco to make the food Thai style. This will ensure you're dishes are more umami, chilli, sweet and sour. Had The Delicious Chicken Spring Rolls With Sweet And Chilli Sauce...Which Takes Me Back To The Streets Of Bangkok.... For The Main Course... Simple Thai Pork Noodle Soup... Clear Pork Soup With Flat Noodles, Pork Pieces, White Raddish, Green Veges, Flavoured With Crushed Peanuts, Chilli Flakes And Vinegar.... A Really Wholesome Meal... Enjoyed the experience. Try out anything on the menu and you would be transported via taste to streets of Thailand. A must try for those who love a kick of spice, fresh ingredients and food made with love ! A big thumbs up to Coco and her team! Warm Regards Lady Lucky Rai Chand Malhotra

Food here was absolutely delicious!! I had two starters....spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce and Tom Kha soup with prawns. The prawns were lovely and soft and the soup was loaded with other vegetables such as cauliflower, mushrooms and a few sliced carrots. The flavours were enhanced with the usual Thai basil leaves and other traditional Thai spices and lemongrass. For main I had green curry with chicken and again the flavours were spot on and it too had loads of vegetables....broccoli, green beans, chunks of egg plant. I asked for coconut rice but they couldn't do that so had plain rice instead. I also asked for a mango sticky rice to take away but was told this was unavailable. When I asked why, I was told as it was not mange season and so they only use fresh mango rather than the ones you can get now. To drink I had the lemon iced tea and whole bill was just under 1,800R

We were told at the restaurant only cash payment allowed when we entered ( 28th Feb 2021) afternoon. Anyways we ordered Papaya Salad (Som Tam) well not great for that price, Spring rolls were normal, Tom Yum soup we ordered for clear soup, but were served non clear, when told we ordered clear it looked like restaurant owners are always right anyways the soup was good would give 4 stars for it. Red curry beef was ok 3.5 stars for that. Pad Krapov pork not that great. Over all price and quality of food don't go hand in hand, some dishes are good, other quiet average. Finally bill what we received was not a printed receipt but it was hand written on piece of paper. By the way you have to park the car on road, restaurant doesn't have car parking facility.

Love home style reataurants and was very excited to visit we called in advance and a lovely lady picked up and briefed us in vegetarian options available on reacing there my expectationa crashed -what really upsets me is the lack of customer convinience by food joints like this . No wehere does it say that they do not accept credit-debit cards or any digital payments and they are in the middle of a dark highway like road with no ATM for miles. My friend with me got some intution i guess and asked before placing the order and was told they only accept cash .so rummaging through our pockets We had to choose to eat less based on how much we were carrying or go find a ATM . We chose the former and ordered just a somtam and a soup . Still Hungry and irritated - we had no option but to finish dinner at another small restaurant that accepted debit cards. Digital india seems a long way off with places like these and in almost a humourous jest - we concluded that coco was living in dark ages on the dark street it was...

Arogant owners who claim to try to go with the mantra "the customer is always right"(even if they are wrong) but don't actually when the customer actually gives an honest review about their experience. I don't usually call out someone but the condescending tone in which the owner Coco has replied to my review made me take the time to review coco's kitchen. I always liked the place for their Thai food but have noticed a big difference in the quality of the food ordered on my last order. They charge delivery of ₹100 even though you stay in a 1km radius. The prices of the dishes are very unreasonable. Barely any pork in my krapow fried rice. The green Thai curry was watery than usual and lacked flavour because of the extra water added. Get your arrogance in check Ms./Mrs. Coco it will surely help you keep you regular customers and appreciate the customers coming to your place. Being a good person goes a long way... All the best to you and...
