Damodar Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

I dont know whats so authentic about this restaurant. The prices here are high and increased frequently just because they have created an image in the minds of people of vasco.Thier taste is ok not that good. The owner or whoever handles the desk has no control over his mouth and no respect for customers. Over the years people of vasco have made them crorepatis that is why now their taste is gone out of the window and they are filled with ego. Its time people of vasco should boycott so called Authentic restuarant. They fool the customers with thier damodar brand but provide poor quality.The place looks filthy,shabby and unhygenic but the arrogant onwers has rates of a 3 star hotel....

If you want an absolute time travel into your childhood of 1980s, then visit Damodar restaurant. The place hasn't changed in years! The food quality is the same, taste is same, service, cutlery, menu, even menu prices is the same!!! Yummy breakfast quick fixes! Buns, bhaji pao, idli, usal, chai, coffee, etc. Everything served super hot & within minutes. One of the oldest places in Vasco! In the most happening street of Vasco, Swatantra path. And best thing is the only place which opens at 6:30 or 7am! That's an absolute unheard of in...

We ordered samosa, vada pav, buns bhaji, mushroom bhaji with pav & tea. Samosas & vada pav were fresh & good to taste but chatni has no taste. Buns are excellent but bhajis are ok. Special tea does not have masala in it but still has good flavour of tea leaves. Overall a decent experience. My suggestion is to try out their buns with tea or coffee & go for samosa...
