I visited this restaurant with my family and I must say, i never realised that we have such good outdoor seating restaurant just nearly 4km away from Marcel. Ambience: This is an outdoor seating restaurant situated in Dhaujim, inner areas of Old Goa. There is an ample parking space here. The shape of the restaurant is that of a boat and on other side of the restaurant we can see our River Mandovi flowing. The restaurant is very clean. There is an aquarium placed at the entrance for the visitor to have a look. Food: This restaurant is well known for their fish. So if you visit here, make sure you order more seafood than chicken. Beginning with the fresh Lime Soda, it was so tempting and refreshing to beat the heat in this summer. We ordered Velli ( Silver fish) rawa fry. The fish was fried crisp and tasty and everything about the fish was perfect. The fish was fried in a pure Goan fashion, thus getting the homely touch. My mother and my sister ordered chicken xacuti and chicken biryani, whereas I settled for prawn biryani. Chicken Xacuti is listed in their list of Goan Specialities and it was really lip smacking. Prawn biryani was amazing, it had the flavour of prawns in its masala. The presentation of biryani differed for prawns and chicken biryani and so did their taste. We found prawn biryani tastier than chicken biryani, something which is found in only few restaurants. Lastly, for desserts, you get Kwality wall ice creams only, which you can choose as per your choice. Service: The staff is very friendly. Despite being crowded at later hours in afternoon, the waiters did not get bored or panicked and always had smile on their face. Also, food was served within 15-20 minutes of order. Overall: Ambience: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Service:5/5

At Darya Deger Restaurant in Goa, our dining experience was a mixed bag of flavors and efficiency. We kicked off our meal with the Honey Chicken starter, which proved to be a satisfying introduction. The subtle sweetness of the honey complemented the succulence of the chicken, setting a positive tone for the rest of the dining adventure. The Fresh Lime served as a refreshing interlude, cleansing our palate for the main course. Opting for Ghee Rice and Chicken Curry, we found the combination to be satisfactory, though not exceptional. The flavors were decent, falling into the realm of "okay." The Goan Thali, however, stood out with its array of traditional dishes, providing a more authentic taste of Goan cuisine. Despite the restaurant being bustling at peak afternoon hours, service surprised us with its promptness. Our orders, including the intricacies of Ghee Rice and Chicken Curry, were efficiently delivered within a mere 5 minutes. This swift service was a commendable aspect, especially considering the peak-hour rush. Darya Deger offers a decent culinary experience with highlights like the Honey Chicken starter and the authentic Goan Thali. The prompt delivery in a busy setting adds to the overall positive impression, making it a worthwhile stop for those seeking a mix of flavors and efficiency in Goa.

My recent visit to Darya Deger was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The atmosphere is lovely, creating the perfect setting for a delightful dining experience. The highlight of my visit was the incredible fish and chicken dishes. Cooked to perfection, the flavors were a symphony of tastes that left my taste buds craving for more. The fish was tender and flavorful, while the chicken was juicy and well-seasoned. Each bite was a culinary delight. The attention to detail in every aspect of the meal was evident, from the presentation to the quality of ingredients used. The menu offers a wide variety of options, catering to different preferences and dietary needs. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting and cozy, making it a great place for both intimate dinners and gatherings with friends and family. Overall, I highly recommend Darya Deger to anyone looking for delicious food, a lovely atmosphere, and excellent service. It's a gem of a restaurant that deserves every bit of praise it receives.

Darya Deger Restaurant Dhauji Cumbharjua; St Estevan Ferry Rd; 1km from Gandhi circle; Velha Goa I have dined at this place. It’s always crowded so one should be on time to book your seat. This place is very famous for fish. If you are a fish lover then this is the place you should definitely try. Though this place is famous for fish the vegetarian menu is quite scrumptious. On February 01 2024, I ordered food from Darya Deger Restaurant. Vegetarian biryani; mushroom Manchurian and paneer makhanwala were some of the dishes I tried. The starter Green peas dry fry was something that I tried for the first time and I really loved it. The mushroom Manchurian was yummy and delicious. The delivery was on time. The location is little inside but Google solves the issue. • Trip type: Friends • Service: 3.5 • Location: 4.0 • Hotel highlights: Big place with many tables. It is next to a water body. • Walkability: lots of Parking area. So much so that Buses can be parked. • Food & drinks: Good

Great experience I must say! The most beautiful thing here is that you are surrounded by the open atmosphere, the Mandovi flowing behind you and the cool breeze to make the landscape more ecstatic! The restaurant is in the form of a Ship, seems that the owner was working on a Ship abroad! Relatable right!?😀 Anyways starting first, the Parking space is ample, but if I was you, I would avoid to park below the coconut tree, just to be safe and park somewhere safe. The food was amazing! Try Chicken Sate, for a starter, it was brilliant.. Price wise- the rates are somewhat high, but you wouldn't mind right? We don't dine out everyday! But the overall experience, I would say was Great! The food was served hot and tasty too.

Ordered chicken xacuti (was not a xacuti at all more like a chicken curry) chonak rava fry (its not less salt but no salt at all) prawns curry ( we were not informed it were baby prawns and they were frozen ones and it was too sour). See the service was good and the staffs were friendly and courteous but what made me give a 1 star in the taste really. I saw tourists in a bus coming to eat their food and you claiming its goan? I dont think so! So please check the kitchen or your chefs! taste your food please your killing the business. Service will not go alone you should be there (kitchen or the food quality). Hope this will go reach to the management thank you! TASTE YOUR FOOD.
