Stayed at Dream Discovery for 4 days from 7-11 May. Was disappointed. Read the long review before you book. Thank me later for saving your money.

Will break down the review as into different points:

Booking - our plan was last minute so we booked through Agoda and this has some good reviews. No amount was deducted at booking. Had read one review where guest was refused online booking so though of calling property to confirm. The person on the line straight away said booking is on hold till payment is done. He also offered a minor discount on rate compared to Agoda so we paid 50% advance. On reaching we found the luxury suites to be a sham and requested for normal rooms but they refused as those were booked as per them.

Property Location - it's at the very end of the Agonda beach and those who want to do nothing but stare at the ocean - its exactly what you want.

Those with Family - strict avoid as the location is quite inside the main road without any boards to guide you and at night it does not really feel safe to venture outside the resort. Also, Agonda beach is not safe to swim due to the strong water currents. You could take a dip in the shallow waters but not venture beyond few feet.

Resort - we found it to be extremely ordinary. The so called luxury suites size are misguiding as they have one room on the ground floor and the other on the first floor. So anyone with small kids will end up actually using only one room unless your kids can sleep alone. The view from the balcony is of the backyard where all junk bottles are thrown so the balcony was never used by us. None of the rooms have balconies with any kind of view so don't bother booking this place if you need balcony with a view. Only the common dining area is sea facing.

The Bathroom does not have proper slope so the water was always accumulated in the center which was very annoying. The toilet handshower was always leaking so we had to manually turn off the water to keep the bathroom from flooding. Hot water in the shower was not available - though we did not need it as it was summer. Mattresses were not clean and never changes during our 4 days of stay. Thankfully the aircons were working which made this place livable to some extent.

The only plus of this resort was the restaurant view overlooking the Agonda beach. But than again this was good in the morning for a day or two. At night if you venture onto the beach the stray dogs will start howling and barking and you will need to head back to the resort. Also the beach is absolutely pitch dark and does not feel safe to roam around at night.

Resort Employees -

It seems the main manager was on vacations and there was another person who was running the place. He seemed to be the only competent person running the place. The security guard was never around and we had to open and close the resort sliding gates ourselves for the entire 4 days everytime to take out vehicle in & out. Absolutely annoying. Food was good but Indian options were very limited. Restaurant service guys were always on the mobile and hardly bothered to serve guests. The entire property was being run by 3-4 people.

Agonda Beach - Clean and secluded but unsafe to swim. Night life is non existent. At least there was nothing near the resort maybe on the other end of the beach. We found lot of inappropriate behavior on this beach by other resort guests which was another bad experience for people with families.

Overall - There is nothing to do here (no swimming pool, no play area, no board games - nothing at all). You will need to decide if you want to simply laze around than its fine. Food cost is also on higher side or on par with other sea side restaurants with very limited options for Indian food. For the amount they are charging, you will get much better resorts on Palolem beach with all facilities. Also make sure you get written assurance from owner as they are non-negotiable once you make payments. Best to be avoided...

Exercise caution when selecting this destination for your vacation, especially during the year-end trip. You might face unexpected cancellations. I reserved two rooms at this property for two families (mine and a friend's) in October '23 for our year-end trip from December 30th, '23, to January 1st, '24. Despite confirmation until a week before our vacation, we received a midnight email stating my reservation was canceled without a specified reason. Upon contacting them, they initially refused communication, citing my Agoda booking. Agoda informed me that the property couldn't block the amount to my Amex card, blaming card issues. However, I had successfully used the same card for another booking in the same city on December 29th to 30th. Despite no issues with my Amex card, the property canceled my reservation, seemingly to sell the rooms at a higher price during the peak season. They offered no valid reasons for the cancellation, jeopardizing our entire year-end vacation. Despite numerous pleas, they showed no intention of assisting customers, prioritizing profit over customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, this led to the cancellation of flights and our entire trip due to the unavailability of alternative accommodations during the peak year-end period. Consider your options carefully to avoid jeopardizing your trip with family and friends.

Note: I haven’t received any calls or email from property neither received any links from property which they can’t prove it. I called them directly and even told if I need to make payment pls let me know but they simply denied to speak to me and asked me to talk to Agoda support as I booked it through...

This resort is extremely poorly managed. I strongly advise against booking a stay here. Despite booking my reservation 45 days in advance, I encountered numerous issues. I made several calls to confirm my booking during this period, yet they abruptly canceled my reservation just one day before my scheduled arrival. While I had read similar negative reviews from previous guests, I had hoped to avoid such an experience. Unfortunately, the staff at this resort completely ruined my trip. This has been an incredibly disappointing experience.

Dear Owner, I urge you to be mindful of your communication here. My booking was abruptly canceled after 45 days, despite my adherence to your policy of booking in advance and making the required payment as outlined on your website. Your accusations of rude behavior are unfounded and quite frankly, disappointing. It is utterly disheartening that it took you and your staff 45 days to notice any alleged misbehavior on my part, especially considering that my attempts to reach out via phone were left unanswered. This situation is deeply...

After looking online at almost all resorts along the Agonda beach, we found Dream Discovery to be the most attractive and classy one - and it did not disappoint at all! A group of 4 of us (2 couples) lived in the family suite at Dream Discovery resort for 3 days and had a blast! The rooms are luxurious and very modern, the staff is always prompt and helpful, and beach view from the deck is exquisite. If your budget is 2.5k per person per night, this is the best bet 😊 Chilling on the deck was the best part of the stay, with a constant supply of local beers and delicious food. Surfing classes, long beach walks, adventurous mini-treks and lots of Goan shopping places are just around the corner. Would 100% recommend staying here to have a luxurious, seamless stay with lots of sun, tan, beach fun, warm resort staff, and general CHILL SOUTH GOA VIBES!!

Wonderful staff! Wonderful food. The tuna pesto salad, god! It was soo fresh and flavourful, I was completely in love with it. And the room was soooo beautiful! We stayed in a family room and everything was so cute. They welcomed us with cutely arranged towels🥹 and the washrooms were well stocked. Loved everything about the stay! Thanks a lot!! Definitely gonna visit you again whenever I'm in south Goa :) ❤️
