Fish land — Restaurant in Goa

This is a genuine feedback . Hope the owner is reading it . It was my mums birthday so we decided to get to fish land a table for 4. Entering fish land or getting to it is a straight road , the trip was bumpy but survived . In entering it , it looked peaceful , there are 2 sitting arrangements on 2 sides . The first one in front had a more Relaxed vibe We got a table in the front Restaurent , 1:45 pm We got our menu cards n was placing our order with the waiter , it looked like he was new and a trainee, could t quite explain the food to us . Then came Rakesh, he knew his job well n that’s why I gave your service 5 star ITS BECAUSE of him. He guided us though our choices n our food . You see it’s not only the cooks , the food or the atmosphere, The most important thing is a human touch . He kept coming back at intervals to Check on us . Just fantastic ! He suggested us food that was appropriate for my mum since she quite shed . When he bought the beef to us , he gave us the option to feel the temperature , you see people who know about service notice these small things . Dropped by Fishland, Colva today evening. Place has expanded the seating area. Had the ISL match playing on a projector. Later switched to the EPL match. Comfortable seating arrangements with overhead fans. We had the chicken lollipops, calamari batter fry with tartare sauce, roast beef tongue and french fries. Every single dish was prepared exceptionally well. Lollipops with the crispy batter on the outside and juicy chicken on the inside. Calamari batter fry portion wise was very generous, again batter golden brown and crispy on the outside and calamari was easily as fresh as can be. Roast beef tongue was another winner, again generous portion wise, flavourful, well prepared. French fries excellent. Service was available and again excellent throughout the evening. Ample parking space as well for both 2 wheelers...

Worst experience ever the staff is pathetic doesn't even care to listen or come to the table we had to wait half an hour for every next order to come even though the restaurant was 50% occupied at the end my dad had to go near the bar(kitchen area) to say don't give the order just give the bill and let us go the staff was not even looking at him that guy was looking near some other table orders so I had to intervene and tell him to do the needful he still did not give any attention so we decided to leave without paying the bill then the waiter came with order it was full cold we did not accept anything paid the bill and left we just had 1 dish and 2 beers pls guys do not go over there the food was okayish and it's going to be pathetic experience for...
