HOT WOK -MOMO & INDO-ASIAN KITCHEN (MOMOS & CHINESE IN FATORDA, MARGAO) — Restaurant in Goa

I visited the place at night, so it was calm and also got to park our vehicle right next to the restaurant. Upon ordering, got the dishes freshly made with small customisation on request and service was clean and quick. The menu book was simple no fancy words.

Ambience and Parking: At night, calm and quiet. If there would have been lot of customers, then I would probably have to wait for my turn for a table and so as parking the vehicle.

Food: We ordered Crispy Fried Chicken, Chicken fried rice, Schezwan Fried rice, Garlic chicken gravy.

Hygiene: The restaurant kitchen was clean and well organised as it was clearly visible from the ordering counter.

Dinner for 3 members costed us 800/- Rs. Price is justified by the dish. Would return back to taste the other dishes.

Truly a hidden gem. Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The size of the momos was also bigger than what I have seen in other places.

The Afghani momos with white sauce is a bestseller but my personal favourite would be the Crispy Fried Momos with the crunchy breaded and spiced exterior hiding the juicy and soft filling inside. The homemade mayonnaise sauce adds a whole new dimension.

One serving is definitely enough for one person, maybe even two depending on who is eating.

After a while, we have been able to taste good momos and Chinese dishes without having to fine dine into a Chinese restaurant. The momo fillings, the noodles, the starters, all are well made and they are neither too spicy (Indian style) nor too saucy (Indian Chinese). Just right to give you a good taste. I would recommend that you order it at home, rather than dine there because there’s limited seating. The owner is pretty polite and very professional and sometimes delivers food himself.
