JANET & JOHN'S RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Goa

Recently stayed here for 3 days.. lots of good things as well as bad. Good things- on the beach, hotel is on the beach and the shack is attached..so it's very easy to go on the beach and go back on rooms. Room was big good , bed was comfortable, ac was good, hot water was available. Allowed early checkin and late checkout with half charges. Wifi was good. Lots of greenery. Also they have lots of dogs sometimes they are open and its scary sometimes if you are not a dog lover. Bad things- no room service, stayed 3 days but no one asked if we need anything, used same towel for 3 days, no water bottle provided, no toiletries provided, we searched the market to get soap and toothpaste, no tea coffee service in room, food in shack/restaurant is very expensive than others. Cant dry clothes outside room. No facility to hang wet clothes outside Ambience of shack is also not good. At shack one of the guy name shiva asked for cigarette multiple times. Don't go in April as this is completely indian season and most of the shack don't treat so well also they dont have better...

We were just walking by Anjuna beach and randomly decided to dine here for evening snacks, that turned out to be a good decision. First thing that I am impressed was hospitality. The way you get attention and treated by staff who also indulge themselves helping you on choosing the right menu was everything for me to give a 5 Star. Horrible experience. The shack and beach 🏖️ are totally a yes! Beautiful. Which is why the staffs are so reluctant about the resort and room services. As they know, customers will still come. Shabby place, tasteless food, expensive rates. We came in the month of late September. Shack was closed. That left the option of being in the rooms. As we had made prior booking we were not able to find another resort for our rescue. Was stuck here. They don't even clean the table...
