Laila's Cafe — Restaurant in Goa

I’ve found it difficult in Goa, in particular, to find the best Hydrabadi food — my hunt stopped at Laila's cafe. It’s not that OTHERS don’t exist; it’s that they’re so rarely celebrated. Restaurants, all of them trendy or expensive or both. Those places are fine, and some are WAY BEYOND than fine. So, instead of having the joker biryani of trademark 100 rupees in Goa (don't know why they call it biryani) come to this quite & beautiful place to have REAL biryani. Laila's Cafe is located in Anjuna. A friend mine recommended this place. This place usually serves Hyderabadi Food. But to my luck they were serving Bengali food as it was a special occasion. The place is small and you might give a second thought to eat at this place. But believe me the food is mind blowing. I had one of the best Bengali food, everything was just so perfect. Yummmm Yummmm Yummmmm Haleem... Totally changed my view on Haleem... Authentic Hyderabadi style... And not to forget the courteous host Laila... You wouldn't feel like you've visited some cafe... More like a visit to a friends place... super happy end to our day.. Can't get that delicious aroma out of my mind... A must try if you are anywhere near anjuna or vagator or in Goa for that matter..
