I’ve been to Cream Choc in Anjuna multiple times now, and every single visit has blown me away. Their gelato isn’t just good it’s on a whole different level. Easily one of the best in Goa, and honestly, the best I’ve had anywhere in India.

I’ve travelled a lot across the country North, South, cities, small towns you name it. I’ve tried desserts everywhere, but nothing comes close to what Cream Choc is serving. The flavor, the smoothness, the richness it’s pure quality in every bite. You can taste the difference instantly. It’s not overly sweet, it’s not artificial, and it doesn’t feel mass-produced. This is real, handcrafted gelato done right.

Ordinarily I would give a place like this 5 stars as the product is 5 stars. The Gelato’s taste and texture is some of the best I have ever had. The only problem is on my last visit the gelato was all melted and runny and the texture was rubbish. The gentleman serving had a ready excuse that the freezer is open all day due to the popularity so the gelato was melted. It’s the first time I have heard an excuse that the product quality is bad due to it’s popularity. I was informed by a friend who stays in Goa (He was the person who had recommended the place very highly) that recently the quality had gone down. Either way the quality of the product, the ingredients, the effort going into making it is top notch. To then allow it to melt which is not only a health hazard but totally ruins the quality of the product. Good gelato has a texture that is vastly superior to ordinary ice cream.
