Yeah bit expensive but the food and the experience definitely worth more than every penny spent. Wanted to have something different this time so literally pulled out my friends from their South Goa nest travelled over 45km to reach this gem of a place. Lovely vibes, very similar to some boutique restaurant from Bangkok or Saigon (never been to Yangon)... My friends not very experimenting type, still was able to try quite a few of the dishes... We loved the papaya salad, lemon chilli prawns, and crispy pork belly... Beer can chicken was interesting but not what I expected, still very good, the chilli chicken got devoured by the kids, both pork fried rice and egg fried rice very good, i had them with the very flavorful beef and peanut curry (lots of bamboo shoots) ... Friends also appreciated the cocktails Coco chilli highball Rangoon sour and Mandalay Mango (the best, friends would love to know the recipe)... The chocolate fondant and sticky rice cake was the perfect closure... We were 5 adults and 3 kids, bill little over 14.4k... Must also mention the lovely kitchen garden, you can spend a good time going through the plants (restaurant was empty so fortunate to get a short guided tour)...

Bomras has always been one of the hottest spots for a meal in Goa. I was surprised that many didn't know of their (not-so-new) location in Anjuna. It is beautiful, shrouded in greenery, and calm, unlike the former one in busy Candolim, which is now closed. From among the dishes I tried, I'd definitely repeat the perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth Tamarind Pork and the flavour-packed Beef Chilly. The Pickled Tea leaf salad is not something I'd normally pick, but I'm glad I did, as it was full of texture and light flavours. On Sunday, Bomras offers Khao Suey, so if you're a fan, head on over. 🍲 The white chocolate and carrot blondie topped with a scoop of dark chocolate sorbet is to die for, and that perfectly wobbly tender coconut 🥥 panna cotta with passion fruit coulis is a crowd favorite. If you like ginger in your desserts, you must order the Creme Brulee.

I recently visited this restaurant and had an interesting experience. The menu was limited, but it featured fresh, homegrown herbs and aromatics from their kitchen garden, which added a unique touch. While I didn’t try the cocktails, the cocktail menu looked quite appealing and creative. The place is on the expensive side and they do levy a 10% service charge, which might be a consideration for some. There's ample parking, which is a plus. As for the food, it didn’t quite have the "wow" factor I was hoping for, but all the dishes were healthy and gut-friendly, with a focus on nutritious ingredients. The staff was attentive and well-informed about the menu, providing a pleasant dining experience. Overall, it’s worth a visit for those looking for a healthy, unique dining experience, but for me, it’s more of a one-time visit.

Bomra's, Goa is a hidden gem located in the bustling beach town of Goa, India. This trendy and chic restaurant offers a unique dining experience that combines authentic Burmese cuisine with a modern twist. Here's my review after dining at Bomra's:

Ambiance: The ambiance at Bomra's is modern and sophisticated, with an open-air setting that offers a relaxed and casual vibe. The restaurant is beautifully lit with soft lights and has a stylish decor with comfortable seating arrangements. The outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying the pleasant Goa weather while savoring your meal. The overall ambiance creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

Cuisine: Bomra's specializes in Burmese cuisine, and the menu is a tantalizing fusion of traditional Burmese flavors with contemporary culinary techniques. The menu features a wide array of options, including appetizers, soups, salads, main courses, and desserts. The food is prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavors. The standout dishes for me were the Kachin-Style Chicken, Tea Leaf Salad, and the Shan Noodles. The flavors were authentic, and the presentation was top-notch.

Service: The service at Bomra's is exceptional. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, providing recommendations and explaining the dishes in detail. The service is prompt, and the staff ensures that your dining experience is comfortable and enjoyable. The owner, Chef Bomra, is also known for his warm hospitality and personally greets guests, adding a personal touch to the dining experience.

Value for Money: The pricing at Bomra's is on the higher side, but the quality of food, service, and ambiance justifies the cost. The portion sizes are decent, and the flavors are worth every penny. It's a great place for a special occasion or a fine dining experience in Goa.

Overall Experience: Dining at Bomra's was a memorable experience. The unique fusion of Burmese cuisine, the cozy ambiance, and the excellent service made it a standout restaurant in Goa. The flavors were outstanding, and the attention to detail in the presentation of dishes was commendable. It's a must-visit restaurant for food lovers who are looking for something different and adventurous in Goa.

In conclusion, Bomra's in Goa is a culinary delight that offers an exceptional dining experience. From the delicious Burmese cuisine to the cozy ambiance and attentive service, it's a restaurant that stands out in the crowded food scene of Goa. Highly recommended for foodies seeking a unique and memorable...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bomras, and I am delighted to share my review of this remarkable establishment. From the moment I entered, the restaurant captured my attention with its captivating ambiance and left a lasting impression with its exceptional cuisine.

The food at Bomras is truly a culinary masterpiece. Each dish I savored was a delightful blend of flavors, expertly prepared with meticulous attention to detail. The menu showcased a diverse range of options, catering to various palates and dietary preferences. From delectable appetizers to mouthwatering main courses and divine desserts, every dish was a testament to the chef's creativity and skill.

One standout aspect of the dining experience was the restaurant's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients. The freshness and superior quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite, elevating the overall dining experience. Whether it was the succulent seafood or the perfectly cooked cuts of meat, each ingredient was thoughtfully selected and expertly executed.

In summary, Bomras offers a truly exceptional dining experience where the exquisite cuisine meets an enchanting ambiance. Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner, a celebration with loved ones, or a memorable culinary adventure, this restaurant will undoubtedly exceed your expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a remarkable gastronomic journey accompanied by a...
