LAXMI BAR & RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Goa

So far visiting Ponda, Goa this is best restaurant so far I have visited. The place have family sitting arrangements also. The place is clean. Serving staff is also friendly and knowledgeable. Overall Pricing of all items is quite reasonable. Sitting arrangements are nice and Air conditioning is very well working. I have Ordered, Goan Fish Curry Rice. King Fish Rawa Fry. Lepo Rawa Fry. King Fish Masala Fry. Now about the Food, Goan Fish Curry Rice :- I ordered this in thought that Thali like system will come to table but they serve it in different plate with selection of fried fish. This have Fish kadhi, some vegetable bhaji, kokam kadhi / Goan solkadhi and Fried bangda. All tastes good and fish is fresh and tasty.

King Fish Rawa Fry and 3. Lepo Rawa Fry :- Both the fish fry are very good in size. Flesh is pristine white which indicates freshness. Both the fish fry have nice coating and fired until crisp. They tastes delicious. Beawar of bones in Lepo fish. King Fish Masala Fry :- For this fish fry they have to work on the taste of masala. The coating masala is bit sour in taste and fish not evenly coated. Overall...

Visited this place last night with friends over a dinner. Laxmi Restaurant is very much known restaurant in ponda for its lip smacking Sea Food , Goan , Chinese and last but not the least it's Biryani.

The place is located in ponda near Axis Bank , opp. Raj enclave. The only problem here is for parking as it's a high Street and you have to struggle for parking.

The Ambience of the place is good they have 2 section AC & Non AC. Staff here is very good and co-operative. The service is prompt and quick.

Laxmi Bar & Restaurant is a solid place to grab a meal and relax. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable—perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a laid-back dinner.

The highlight for me was definitely the biryani—flavorful, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. You can tell they put effort into getting the spices and texture just right. It’s easily one of the better biryanis I’ve had in the area.

Drinks are reasonably priced and well-prepared, and the menu offers a good variety of dishes to pair with your order. The service was friendly and attentive, though there was a bit of a wait during peak hours.

Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the ambiance could use a bit of a refresh—it’s clean and welcoming, but a few upgrades would really elevate the experience.
