Lazy Fish Restaurant in Baga is one of those rare finds that truly deliver on authenticity and flavor. As a food blogger constantly in search of local gems, this place absolutely won me over!

The vibe is relaxed, and the homely touch to the food is unmistakable—probably because the chef is also the owner and a passionate home cook. You can really feel that love in every bite.

I tried their Prawn Fish Thali and Chonak Fish Thali—both were absolutely delicious and loaded with traditional Goan elements. The thalis were generous and well-balanced. The Mussels Rava Fry and Squid Rava Fry were crispy, fresh, and full of coastal flavors. But the star for me was the Crab Sukha—a rich, spiced dish that left me licking my fingers!

The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and it has a peaceful, no-fuss setting. They also have Wi-Fi and high chairs available, making it family-friendly.

If you’re in North Goa and craving authentic Goan seafood at honest prices, Lazy Fish is a must-visit. I’m...

Goan cuisine, with its unique blend of rich flavors and spices, offers a delightful experience for seafood lovers. The Goan fish thali, a specialty of the region, is a testament to this culinary tradition. It typically features a variety of seafood dishes, including a succulent fish curry made with coconut milk and a host of aromatic spices, rice, fried fish, and accompaniments. The authenticity of Goan fish food lies in its preparation, using traditional methods and fresh, The helpful staff in Goan restaurants often contribute to a pleasant dining experience, assisting patrons with menu selections and ensuring that the food is to their liking. While the atmosphere may vary from place to place, the focus remains on the quality and taste of the food, which is usually well-received by those who try it. Overall, the combination of delicious food, attentive service, and the cultural ambiance of Goa makes for a satisfying...

Very very bad experience in this hotel loging. Owner of this property has given his place on rent to outside person. Some outside state person is running the loging . When you check in the hotel loging the person first asks for the rent payment. No one is available when you want to check out early in morning. Food and dinner is not available early in morning and night. The person who runs the loging speaks rudely to customers and thinks he is owner of property. When you need extra bed and bedsheets they don't give they say that it is not in there policy.I have seen first hotel in my life who doesn't keep extra bed, bedsheets etc with them which is very basic thing in hotel loging industry. Service is very 3rd class. This is also first hotel in my life which asks for payment at the time of check in. Staff is...

A not-so-commercial place hidden in the lanes of Arpora for you to try out next! 🐟 šŸ¤ Lazy Fish in Arpora has been run by Harsha Tai for the last 15 years and serves some incredibly fresh and tasty seafood preparations. This no-frills spot is frequented by locals and is yet to make it on the tourists' radar. The hooman is legit drinkable and my mother thoroughly enjoyed it - which is high praise! It has a menu that's loaded with seafood from start to finish! Take your pick and choose a preparation (rava fry, masala fry, butter garlic, recheado etc) and enjoy homely flavours in a no-frills restaurant. Lazy Fish tends to get full by 1:30 PM so go early to secure a table. Follow @thatgoangirl for more

It's a shame to rate this place lower since the food is great. It's almost the perfect place to grab an authentic Goan fish curry thali, except for the fact that the owner and the staff overcharge anyone who looks like a tourist. And not by a little, more than double the price. Quick tip for anyone planning to drop by here got the lunch, there's absolutely no difference between the regular thali and the fictional special thali. And even the regular thali is priced higher than what the locals pay, by a decent margin. But that is still better than paying more than double the price for the exact same thing. What a shame. I would have loved this place if not for these cheap shenanigans.
