After reading the reviews I wanted to try this place, when we got in there was no one so we thought it might not be a good place and planned to just have a drink and fries and leave, but when I saw the lime soda so well presented and then the fries came in a lovely serving dish looking so well fried and the amount was huge!!!!! Then we decided that we should give it a try as everything looked neat, clean and well kept. The serving dishes were beautiful, the cutlery was shining and we could not ask for more. So we ordered our usual starters like garlic chicken, pepper chicken and butter garlic naan and the cook did a fantastic job of not coating the chicken pieces with batter, that was really amazing and the taste was delicious. Only thing was we were expecting a deck like place with leisurely ambience. This was more like eat and get going spot, but clean and easygoing. Taste is very important and we were impressed with the food, this place is now our new favourite place for delicious food. The pricing was super reasonable, given the cleanliness and taste I think it was a good decision to come here. Don't think about it, just go ahead and...
Read moreIn the midst of bustling city of Mapusa, you find Mapisa Deck+ an unassuming restaurant that serves up some of the most authentic and flavorful Goan cuisine you'll find in the area. While the sparse crowd might initially give pause, don't let the quiet atmosphere fool you – this establishment is a true hidden gem that deserves far more attention than it currently receives.
I tried the masala papad. The papad was roasted and the salad was fresh and packed quite a punch. I also had the Prawn Thali. It comes with rice, prawn curry, fried prawns and an assortment of other goan delicacies.
This place is a definite must try.
Pro Tip: Take advantage of the current quiet period to explore their menu thoroughly. The lack of crowds means the kitchen can give extra attention to each dish, resulting in an even more memorable...

We recently visited Mapusa deck by seeing the reviews. We were a group of 9 people along with 2 small kids - infant of 3 months and a 2 year old toddler, we were occupying one of their AC rooms. The toddler was really hungry and wanted to be breastfed. As our area had a CCTV camera, one of our friend requested the staff to open up the other AC room as it had no CCTV just for 5 mins so the toddler can be fed. They absolutely refused to do so saying “its closed” The manager went ahead to make some of the most derogatory comments on woman and families. The manager’s name was Vishal Rane.
Moral - If you cant allow a mother to breastfeed her child, you have absolutely no morals or right to feed anyone else in this world.
Never ever coming back to this place and also spreading a negative word of...
