Rating this place based on the service I received thrice after visiting this place. They have a top and a down section. They sometimes are " in a good mood " to let you sit upstairs and give you service or you're just abandoned upstairs .
Secondly the waiters are horrible. They look like they are fed up of their lives and are waiting to take off their frustration on you.
I could mention names , but it's ok. I'll be kind enough not to First incident. We enter and order a masala dosa and some more items. The person brings it after a span of 20 mins. When i touch it , neither the dosa nor the filling is even hot. When asked about it he said -it got cold !!!🙄 So we asked him to bring another one we didn't want it like that . And he started arguing . So we simply told him to call his senior and the man in white and black uniform agrees to make a fresh hot one. ( But the rest of the orders that waiter showed every bit of hate and anger towards us )
Second incident . I enter at 7.45 pm and i ask it there's chaat available. They waiter answers " yes" i sit solo and ask for 2 plates of golgappas and he says " that's it ?" " Bas itna " in Hindi , i said yes .
It's 15 mins through and i watch him ignore me . I asked ? He said it being made. ( More like just being layed because the filling we have to do right ) at 25 to 30 mins i walk up to him while he is at the counter because I wanted to know how long and he seemed shocked and asks the counter ( counter is located right in the front as soon as you enter for chaats / shakes / juices .) They haven't even started . I just told him tha k you but please cancel it and walk out . He didn't even seem apologetic for messing up .
Won't mention more for now
Also Parking for this area is a very very big Hassel you have to park far and come walking. The crowd is probably the tourist outside people that stay in the hotel upstairs so they are kind of getting away with however they've been rendering service .
No doubt the food is clean , tasty and well done but These frequent instances have made me take an aversion towards this outlet . Hoping they get better with time and the main management looks into the matters.
I'll definitely visit again and if it gets better I'm...

The service has noticeably declined, with rude waitstaff and prolonged wait times for orders. However, the most concerning issue arose with the quality of the food. I ordered pav bhaji, only to find that the bread was spoiled, stale, and covered in fungus. Despite initially trusting the establishment, the unmistakable presence of fungus when I turned over the bread was alarming. Consuming it made me sick, resulting in food poisoning for the next three days. This serves as a cautionary tale not to blindly trust a restaurant's reputation and to always inspect food carefully before consumption.
Previous Review: If you're from Mapusa, Tulsi is undoubtedly the go-to spot for morning breakfast or evening snacks. It's my personal favorite for veg snacks or breakfast. Everything on the menu is exceptional, but my top picks are the mix bhaji and buns for breakfast and papadi chat for snacks. And let's not forget their delicious cold coffee, which is my absolute favorite!
Being from Mapusa, where pure veg options are limited, Tulsi stands out as the best veg option in town. However, one downside is that the staff aren't very friendly. It seems like due to the constant crowd and busy schedule, they don't prioritize customer service, assuming customers will keep coming back regardless. Despite this, Tulsi remains my go-to spot for delicious vegetarian...
