While searching for restaurants in Anjuna, I stumbled upon Moonstar and decided to give it a try. I went during sunset, and let me just say, it was the perfect choice. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning—right by the beach, with the golden hour light adding to the peaceful vibe.
The owner, a true local Goan, was incredibly welcoming and friendly. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the quality of the experience. The staff, too, were fantastic—attentive, polite, and quick with service.
Now, onto the best part: the food. It was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients that left me craving more. The seafood sizzler was perfectly cooked, and the BBQ Pizza, was some of the best I’ve had in Goa. They have a wood oven, It’s thin crust, 12 inches, cheesy and omg mouthwatering af. The decor was simple yet tasteful, adding to the laid-back beach vibe without feeling too crowded or commercialized.
If you’re planning to visit, skip the overhyped Eva Café—it’s all buzz with little substance. Give this one a chance, they offer a far better experience without the pretentiousness or crowds. Whether you’re looking for a great meal or just a place to relax and enjoy the sunset, this is the spot to be. So satisfied!...
Read moreThe staff is rude, they serve stale and pathetic food. And upon complaining they shout on you instead and be so arrogant about their food and money.
Everything is heavily overpriced. For a water bottle of Rs 20, they're unnecessarily charging 50 bucks. The worst shakshuka and hummus I have ever tasted. I'd rather on any given day just go and have a burnt chapati with pickle, that will taste better than their food. Utter waste of money. If you don't wanna spoil your morning, don't go here for breakfast. There are a couple of more cafes around like Eva Cafe, I was unfortunate I couldn't get a table there it was totally packed. When I entered moonstar, yes the cow and cow's poop was there at the entrance. I had to go here, didn't know it'll be like this. Not just mine, another table that had ordered shakshuka just didn't even touch it. I should have realized. Never ever going again here. Worst...
Read moreThis restaurant is amazing. We stayed in Anjuna for a week and we ate at this restaurant everyday and sometimes we ate here twice a day. Everything we ate on the menu was perfect. We have been traveling for 2 months and this was the best place we've eaten at by far. The food servings were good and the price was very reasonable as many of the restaurants in this area are highly overpriced. We had the best and very tasty Tandori Chicken which is made fresh everytime. My girlfriend had the Veggie Sizzler and she said it was the best sizzler she had in India. We ate the chicken every night and never got sick once (just to let you know it's safe) and also the Hello to the Queen was a great treat. Staff was amazing and super friendly. If recommend this place to everyone from meat lovers to...
