SIMPLY THE BEST SHACK. We have been coming to Goa from last 18 years except the COVID years. We used to go to Antonio’s shack for few years. This year we came to Goa for four weeks. And as usual on our first day we walked the path towards Antonio’s. When inside the shack we realized that it’s Nanu’s Shack there and Antonio’s have moved further down. At the shack we were welcomed by the owner Nanu’s wife Pallavi with a warm and mesmerizing smile. We were given the beds right on the beach in front facing sea. Nanu’s is a great shack to spend your time on beach. Their staff is very attentive and always at your beck and call. Naming few Zahid, Sanjay, Nihal, Suraj etc. etc. are very attentive and ready to anything for you. Nanu’s menu is very extensive. My wife loved the Tiger Prawns and they are huge and second to none. She also liked the Hakka noodles. I thought I might be a problem for Nanu’s as I am a strict vegetarian. But I was absolutely taken aback when Pallavi the owner herself cooked special vegetarian meals for me naming few vegetarian Biryani, Panner Tikka, Dal Tadka etc etc. I was absolutely floored by her hospitality and understanding my needs. Nanu’s got a vast selection of drinks and cocktails in the bar and an extensive menu to complement your drinks and above all their prices are fairly cheap. What more can you want ???????? I know we went Nanu’s by accident thinking it’s another shack, but what a pleasant and memorable accident. We got one more week to go before returning to London and will be there every day. My personal thanks to Nanu, Pallavi and all the boys who are looking after us. We will definitely be back next year with all our family to celebrate our special anniversary. God...
Read moreFood was ok. Red snapper was not as per expectations. Although the shack staff did suggest us Red Snapper but something was off about it. Fish was okayish and would not recommend for first timers. Other items on the menu was good. Fries and prawns were good. Sizzling hot food at the beach with slightly cool breeze in the evening, gives chill vibes. Music was not that great, people who want to enjoy the sound of sea waves wouldn’t like it here since they play lot of party hip music. Light pollution made us miss the dark starry sky at night. Not that great, not that bad...
Read moreAtmosphere was nice, grreat Birayani, Moctail a bit expansive and they was ok. The Soda Lemon juice was terrible, most terrible drink ever. Don't go for that, wasted 50 rupees 😉 After sunset, the beach looks like a trash field, was not like this before. But with so many uneducated blanks, who can effort a holiday now these days,... that's the negative side effects... as 99 % are not educated in environmental research...
