Navtara is not same as our good old Navtara now. Being a Goan, one of the best veg option used to be Navtara (though that was Panaji). Now it’s totally changed on worse side with new outsider employees.
Manager or idk who (in white in AC room) is all confused like. With even few crowd (as compared to Cafe Bhonsle who has 5 times more crowd) he was confused for no reason.
So we had ordered for black thumbs up (charged) to the waiter and just to be sure confirmed at least thrice with him. And said it’s there and so we asked him to bring it directly and we shall open it. And then he came with directly filled in glass and said they put it from inside. But when tasted it was normal Coke. Very disappointed why to lie. He could have said no. When informed no they were just ignoring. I mean like why to lie. They could have just said beforehand. This was a minor so fine. But other thing was. We ordered a 3 juices but soon the waiter left our table and told manager we went (not even 2 seconds) changed 2 of it to other. Third instance was we ordered Samosa for which they said it’s not available. And didn’t give things we received were as per we asked (except fro that charged coke) but on bill they put all extra stuff. Which wasn’t even provided. When called that manager (confused one) he started arguing that we can’t cancel and all. Clearly the table was not even cleaned and all things which we ate were there in his front. Still arguing and since we asked to correct the bill miraculously Samosa became available. He was still saying we had to pay for that changed juice which wasn’t even given. Took long for them make now (which shows that order wasn’t even placed but only coz we asked they made stupid excuses). It was Holi so maybe they had some other staff or it’s usual story idk. But that was very disappointing. We weren’t even rude to them nor we did anything wrong to them so why to lie like that. Still finally at least he agreed his mistake by saying sorry. But still making a mistake and covering for it is too different thing.
So moving on part of my review Location is accessible but they don’t have proper parking facility. So that is mostly roadside.
Ambience is good. Though lot noisy. And table size is less. Maybe because of Holi they had less staff so periodical table cleaning was reduced. Hand washing basin were clean and looked hygienic. I don’t find any compromise with hygiene.
Staff on their part (of confused manager and one waiter) of lying and arguing when it was their mistake and their poor communication makes it disappointing. And very poor customer service. Giving wrong bill and making excuses for us to pay extra by lying makes think whole staff might be bad.
Judging for food Samosa they had given with Chutney and was just average and is not worth giving that much money. Miraculous availability of Samosa which were over so he provided us with Mushroom Samosa which was good to taste.
Falooda was mixed with strawberry ice cream which was good to taste. But it wasn’t at all the real Falooda how it is supposed to be. It was just like plain strawberry milkshake (one we get in tetrapack) which ice cream is added and some of that black seeds like thing we put in Falooda put in small glass charging 140 Rs. it was just plain with no ‘Shevyo’ nothing. Just another hack of making money. Doesn’t worth wasting money on it at all.
Batatwada is d class. Worst. I have put image you can judge it on it looks itself. Again not worth wasting money on it.
Sweet lime was sour and not even cold at first . That confused manager also brought it casually I could literally saw him dropping some drops on ground. He was careless or need some medical assistance that day I feel. Totally lost. But second time after demanding for proper bill he gave little l sweeter one with ice.
Cheese Pav bhaji was tasty. It was really nicely made. Consistency of Bhaji and proportionate of cheese added was great. Even Pav was tasty with butter applied. This was most tasty thing I could say from order which we placed.
Tea was also...
Read moreI don't recommend this place at all. Below are the reasons-
The service time in AC section on the first floor was too much. Almost 30 mins for anything. Then we had to ask them to bring spoons. They brought 2-3 and not according to the number of people. Same for water.
After long waiting time one can expect the taste of the food to be good but that's not the case here. Food was below average in taste. Quantity was very less.
We ordered tea and tea was not hot. There waitors never pay attention to the customers. We ordered coffee and it was too strong and cold..sugar sachet was again asked by us then only one of the waitors came and brought 2 sachets only..They took more than 30 mins just to serve cold tea and tasteless coffee.
Service is not good at all and waitors have attitude problems. After talking to the manager they didn't charge for coffee but that anyway was a mood spoiler. There are better places in the vicinity to enjoy snacks/coffee and lunch so please don't spoil your day by...

The Chole Bhature is an absolute standout—fluffy bhature paired with perfectly spiced chole that will leave your taste buds craving more. Equally delightful were the strawberry ice creams and shakes, which made for the perfect dessert to end the meal.
Every dish we tried was a hit, showcasing the restaurant’s consistency in flavour and quality. The service was also good, further enhancing the dining experience. Bonus points for having ample parking space, a rarity in Goa!
Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for pure veg cuisine with great food, excellent service, and a cozy ambiance. Highly...
