Siolim Deck Family Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Goa

Today we in a group of 10 have been to Siolim deck restaurant impressed with their 4.5 stars thru 1196 google reviews. 1st of all I think they have paid fake reviews reason for this is the first review of Pratik salgaokar a local guide has reviewed this restaurant with 5 stars 2 weeks ago from today dated 30/9/23, when the steward at the restaurant said the restaurant was shut for 1 month or so due to fire caught in restaurant and it was reopened yesterday.The food was really not in good taste. Everything that we ordered veg n non veg was sour in taste. we had ordered chicken steak sizzler I wonder from where the owner who has set the menu or the chef who’s has made the dish have eaten it, in which part of world sizzler is served without butter rice. The basic fresh lime soda sweet n salt was pathetic.Not at all worth visiting this place on the basis of google reviews.Rating 1 star because there is no option of - and the restaurant team needs to work hard on the taste …! Bill of Rs 3510 and 1 dinner time in our tour schedule...

The food served was great, tasty, 4/5. The design and outlook of the restaurant was also fantastic. I commend there should be some light music playing behind to probably smoothen the vibe at the restaurant cause all I could hear is just the conversations and jokes of the tables all around. Biggest con is that the staffing is extremely poor here. I could only see 3 waiters on the roll and 1 or 2 bartenders, I dont really know and I couldnt distinguish since they weren't even in uniform. Our waiter didnt write down whatever we wanted, he just kept memorizing what each table wanted and thus ended up mixing the orders, delay in getting the food and so on. Rest assured, the food is great, but again, who'd want to come back if the service is too poor and ain't no...

Hey foodies, I had the pleasure of dining at Siolim Deck Restaurant & Bar and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! The atmosphere was cozy, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was outstanding!

I highly recommend trying their Chonak Fish Thali, it's a burst of flavors in your mouth! The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, the rice was fluffy, and the accompaniments were delicious. It was so finger-licking good that I almost forgot my manners!
