O'Pescador Restobar — Restaurant in Goa

We visited the place last week. It was our second time and we were hosting friends there. The music that evening was managed by Karaoke DJ Trevor and he was his usual friendly self and kept the mood entertained throughout the evening. Joe - a long timer there took care of our orders and is knowledgeable about his menu and is pleasant to deal with (can't miss him - he has Lionel Richie hair)

One person you can give an absolute miss is their Manager Sydney - very arrogant and no sense of hospitality. There was an incident that took place between the performing artist and him which could have easily been managed differently and taken away from the eyes and ears of the guest present there. A very sour ending to a nice evening courtesy the arrogant Manager.

When I stood up for the performer he threatened, he apparently reported that the performer brought "goons" along to his management.

Not pleased at all as a client with a decent table size and a reasonably large bill was referred to as a goon when standing up for someone being threatened with bodily violence.

Definitely NOT visiting any place where this person is associated.

I would be very concerned having a member with such poor attitude and would lie to this extent while narrating his side...

If you're in Baga, don't waste your time anywhere else. Live music, great food, excellent service, this place has got it all. The live shows, by RINGO in particular, are to die for. It really lifts your spirits and is symbolic of the welcoming nature of Goa and Goans. Be respectful while placing requests and don't forget to applaud the artists.

I casually walked in to have dinner and ended up having a great time. Special thanks to Joe who knows how to make you feel at home along with the polite & hospitable staff. The whole team was very professional.

Strongly recommend going straight for the seafood. I had the Fish Filet with butter garlic sauce. It was served with fries and salad on the side. It was so well done that I'll be having it again very soon, haven't had enough of it, I know that much. Hats off to the chef. Also, had the strawberry cheesecake upon Joe's recommendation. All I'll say is that after a while it becomes difficult to decide what's better; the food, the music, or the service.

A must visit spot in Goa, especially in Baga. I'd travel from South Goa just to be here. Will keep coming back, thank you for a wonderful night. The good times start at O'Pescador Restobar....

Been there with my friends and all of us just loved the food. The ambiance is amazing with perfect fairy lighting and very soothing music. We have ordered fish fingers from the starters, the very famous cosmopolitan and Screwdriver cocktails and chicken lasagna and beef lasagna in the main course. The food was perfectly cooked. Chicken and beef both were very delicious, juicy and it was a perfect blend of spices in the dishes. Fish fingers were amazingly crispy. Also the drinks were just perfect! The staff is very cordial. I am more than delighted to mention 'Joe' who was the main at our service, his behaviour literally made our day. We were initially confused whether we should go for the dinner or to the beach, but we never regretted the decision to give this place a chance. Would definitely recommend the place. I don't have anything to give a feedback at! Just visit and enjoy...
