Redonda Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

The owner's hospitality was good, arriving at the restaurant did gave us hope, but we got disappointed very soon, the major thing that disappointed us was the portion size and taste of a dish that was priced so high, We went out of our zone expecting good food after carefully reviewing the place on the internet because we were in desperate need of some good food, after eating for 3 days in goa now but not finding anything worth the money spent on it. but, to our bad luck. we still couldn't find one. Lasagna we ordered was served with some cold vegetables with a very insufficient cheese layer that couldn't lift the taste on top. Just by looking at the portion size of the lasagna, I immediately had ordered fries on the safe side. which actually saved the day for me. Although I would appreciate the Sizzler Brownies presentation, I would still suggest going for a simpler Brownie option if you crave one. Sizzler does not really add much to taste, but to the theatrics, yes. It was good to see them serving it hot. but it's not good to actually eat the burnt dessert. but, the Brownie is not Redonda's fault. We got what we ordered, i guess. I am not someone who usually sends the food back unless it is completely uneatable, so I just finished my meal and headed out. but I don't think I am going back...

After a very tiring & a hefty shopping spree with the mile long walk from my Airbnb facing the infamous Baga beach, I spotted Redonda across the street and decided to give it a try. Probably the best decision I made after burning a hole in my pockets with all of that shopping xd.

The refreshing lime mojitos were to die for. I probably single handedly consumed three of those in that humid weather.

The food we ordered was excellent, and every last bit of the dishes were devoured!

If I’m not mistaken, we had ordered their garlic prawns, kingfish coated in a crispy layer of semolina? (Forgive my vagueness, this was a couple of months ago) and a couple more dishes with a side of cheesy garlic bread and of course the mojitos. And ended with apple pie (with ice cream) and banana flambé.

And lastly the service was great too! He gave us some good dessert recommendations and was the very person who suggested us to start with their mojitos to quench our thirst!

Redonda is a fantastic restaurant that we had the pleasure of visiting recently. The food was simply amazing, and I was particularly impressed with the Sunday Roast - it was definitely the highlight of my dining experience there. The meat was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were fresh and flavorful.

The staff at Redonda were also extremely friendly and welcoming. They made sure that we felt comfortable and taken care of throughout my meal, and were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu or the restaurant. The vibe at Redonda was also great - the decor was charming and inviting, and there was a lively energy that made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
