Relish - Dining & Bar — Restaurant in Goa

We, a family of 3, were in Calangute - Baga for three days in Nov 2021 and everyday we had breakfast and dinners at Relish. The food and drinks as well as the hospitality at Relish made every time a wonderful experience.

Mr. Vinny Kumar runs the place. The moment you enter, let it be any time of the day, you'll be greeted with an enthusiastic hello and a BIG smile. It's a place with a lot of tall coconut and other trees creating natural shade for the outdoor seating. There's an indoors seating also. While someone walks you to your table, what catches your attention is the artistic table tops and other art pieces mostly elephants and bamboo light shells that give it a rustic look. The ambience is at its best in the evenings and nights with the decorating lights on. The staff too is very friendly and we immediately warmed to them.

They have made easy to use spices too to help cook Goan and other delicacies at home, which I want to try next.

We stopped by this place early in the morning for breakfast before heading back home, so my review is based on that visit. We tried the Goan Style dish, sunny side up and cheese omelette, along with a couple of smoothies and black lemon ginger honey tea. The Goan Style dish was savory, and both the sunny side up and cheese omelette were tasty. The smoothies offered a unique blend of flavors. However, I encountered a minor inconvenience with the black tea served with lemon and honey. While it's a personal preference, I would have appreciated if the server had inquired about whether I preferred the lemon and honey separately or mixed together. It took me some time to mix them to achieve the desired taste. Overall, it was a great experience. Next time, I plan to try some of the main courses as well.
