A Culinary Delight at Ritz Classic Restaurant
Rating: ★★★
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ritz Classic Restaurant, and it was a culinary experience that left a lasting impression. From the inviting ambiance to the delectable cuisine, Ritz Classic proved to be a delightful destination for a memorable meal.
The restaurant's ambiance was elegant and comfortable, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The tasteful decor and attentive service added to the overall dining experience. Whether it was a casual lunch or a special dinner, the restaurant offered a cozy setting suitable for various occasions.
The menu at Ritz Classic showcased a diverse range of culinary delights. From classic dishes to innovative creations, there was something to suit every palate. The quality and presentation of the food were commendable, with i think so each dish expertly prepared using fresh ingredients (not sure) and showcasing a harmonious blend of flavors.
One of the standout aspects of my dining experience was the attentive and friendly service provided by the staff. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offered recommendations, and ensured that all our needs were promptly attended to. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the overall dining experience.
The variety of options on the menu was impressive, catering to different dietary preferences and tastes. Whether you're a fan of seafood, vegetarian cuisine, or meat-based dishes, Ritz Classic had a wide selection to choose from. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that you left the restaurant feeling satisfied and content.
I must highlight the impeccable seafood dishes at Ritz Classic. The freshness of the seafood and the skilled preparation made each bite a delightful experience. From succulent prawns to flavorful fish preparations, the seafood menu was a true highlight.
The only area where Ritz Classic could improve is in terms of speed of service during peak hours. There were instances where the wait for the food was slightly longer than expected, but the quality of the dishes made up for the wait time.
In conclusion, Ritz Classic Restaurant is a wonderful culinary destination that offers a memorable dining experience. With its inviting ambiance, attentive service, and delicious cuisine, it is a great choice for those looking to indulge in a...
Read moreWill be one the rare person who will be giving 1 star to this legendary resturant. I have been visiting this restaurant ( the other old Panjim branch) since long time and tried this gymkhana branch for the first time. As usual it has waiting and over that being single person., was told to wait so that sharing table can be arranged. From that time my pathetic experience started. I had to wait for more than 45 mins for my turn. The most irritating factor was that they were alloting table for customer who had came after me. This happened for atleast 5 customer who came after me and every time I was told that since I am single, sharing table is not being arranged. After a long wait of 45 minutes, I was allotted table in sharing with a family group of 7-8 people which i agreed. Then started another episode of pathetic service. After 5 minutes waiter came to take my order.i ordered 1 fish thali ( Rs 330/-), and asked him a glass of water as I was very thirsty. The waiter took another 10 minutes to bring my thali and till that time i was not offered water. I started eating the thali and the prawn curry was spicy for me . I again requested for water and was ignored again. Then finally i complaint to the manager about not being offered water since last 20 mins. The waiter then came with a glass of water and told me that glass was not available with them hence this delay. What a excuse.....🫢. I had lost my appetite till then, was not able to enjoy the food. Finally after finishing my food I asked for the bill and finger bowl .Even for that I waited for more than 5-7 min ( surprisingly considering the fact that there was waiting outside) Eventually i lost my patience , I got up whent directly to the payment counter paid the bill without even washing my hand and left the restaurant in dismay. Team Ritz classic you have excellent reputation for food. Pls don't spoil by offering such service. Coming single for food is not a crime and doesn't deserve...
Read moreWent for an early Sunday lunch. This "multi-cuisine" restaurant is more famous for its Goan cuisine, so suggest stick to that. It has totally ~300 covers, 140 in ac section, 40 in corridor Alfresco, & 150 at their sea facing section. Starters: Prawn Dangar (cutlets) - most disappointing in both Presentation & taste - suggest pl Avoid!. Velho rava fried - good. Fish Tikka- very good, though abit pricey (Rs 630) Entrée: 'Bharillo bangde' - masala stuffed mackerel- v good. Chonak fish thali- high standard as usual, the fish curry being exceptional. Note: Although they advertise lunch opening time 11am onwards, it has been my regular experience that many fish & seafood items are unavailable when we are seated at 12.15pm. So, we were told: No stuffed crabs No bombil No stuffed squids.... Their fresh fish stock comes in after ~12.30pm. So why advertize opening 11am? Similarly, our 'fish tikka' was much delayed, as their Tandoor was not yet fully fired up. Request their Management to sort out this much delayed start / availability, else change mentioned timings!! Summary: Would strongly recommend this branch at Campal, with ample secured parking, for good Goan cuisine, in a decent ambiance. Our prefered seating is along the waterfront (yes, they now serve thali there too, unlike earlier); but ugly plastic sheets blocked seaview; so awaiting the...
