We like Ritz classic food, especially Sea food items. Recently We visited Ritz classic Gymkhana on the 25th of December Christmas day. We reached at around 10 PM. This time We didn't get a good response. For the single cold drink We had to tell them 5 times. For the fork and spoons We had to ask for 3 to 4 times. 1 staff member (waiter) behaved very rudely with us. We ordered boiled vegetables in creamy butter garlic sauce. The waiter started arguing that We don't serve such dish. You won't get it. We told him that We order this dish every time we visit the Ritz classic. Still He was arguing and gave taunt to another waiter who was serving us that "Aisa order lene ka hi nahi" What is this non sense behaviour. This is unacceptable behaviour from Ritz classic staff. All other staff members are very kind and polite. But this one was very rude. We don't know his name. We understand that due to the heavy rush and the festival all the staff were in a hurry and busy to serve the clients. But other staff members (waiters) were humble and kind. They should increase their waiter staff so that they may not be under pressure due to the heavy rush especially during the festival season. The food is 5 out of 5. Amazing food and environment.

It's a nice riverside restaurant from Ritz (have created a name for them in offering Goan seafood preparations and Thali/fish curry rice over years).Lovely ambience especially when you sit and enjoy your dinner along the confluence of river Mandovi and Arabian sea, with boats sailing to and fro with their flickering lights and faint music and dancing tunes of the folks onboard. The fish here has been never a let down.. although I prefer the standard Rawa fry ..its always fresh and tasty.Tried mussels ,seer fish or king fish/visvon as we call it here, and sea perch or Chanak in local tongue, everything was fresh and portions too were generous. Although the chicken cafreal wasn't as great as I expected but still it was doable and one portion size was enough for two.The poi served with cafreal was good. Overall a nice experience!

We were excited to try this Ritz classic location. We have been few times at the original one and always was satisfied with food and service. Given pandemic limitations of eating out, we chose this one since it had outdoor seating. But upon arrival i was disappointed quickly. To begin with the panjim gymkhana is under construction so that is the 1st issue of hygiene right there...2nd i wasn't happy with overall hygiene at the outside area, counter was dirty, some trash on the ground, full of flies, waiter touching cutlery with this hands all over :( just not what one wants to see during a pandemic. They did keep their masks on full time which i appreciated! We had chonak rava fry which was good but not the best i have had, tisray sukhe was indian style - tasty but we would have liked some goan flavour in it, best was prawn curry - bit too spicy for me but really nice. I wouldn't come back again though. Thankfully we came just before 1pm when it was quite empty otherwise it got so packed just after 1:30pm with waiting lines etc and with numbers currently jumping we felt very uncomfortable. They need to rearrange tables better with some distance not one after another. And the frills on top are unnecessary and make one feel they are at a wedding. Big pass for me!

I feel compelled to share my experience at Ritz Classic Gymkhana, and it's something that deeply saddened me. While enjoying my fish thali, I couldn't help but notice the presence of multiple cockroaches on my table. To my dismay, one of them was crawling on the glass of my drink, which left me feeling disgusted and concerned about the overall hygiene standards. It's disheartening to think that such a beloved establishment could neglect such an important aspect. I sincerely hope that management takes immediate action to address these hygiene issues and improve their pest control measures. It's important for any restaurant to maintain a clean and enjoyable dining environment. I hope my feedback helps them make the necessary improvements.

Overlooking the ocean is a beautiful location in the heart of Panjim. Exotic food coupled with the pristine view is what makes Ritz classic a must visit on your Goa trip. The specialty of this place is the fish food so do try out as much as you can. The Chonak Curry is creamy to perfection cooked in a coconut base and can be had with steamed rice. For people who want to try squids, Mankyo Rava Fry is your cue. It's like having Onion rings but only better. The Prawns Butter Garlic is their specialty so don't hesitate to have this too. The Veg menu is pretty limited if you're looking for something Goan so you will have to go for something in North Indian or Chinese. One of the place I would prefer having lunch rather than dinner at!!

We were invited here by a friend who is local to goa. It was our first time eating in here. The environment was neat and clean and had parking available (was hard to find). The toilets and the restaurant was clean and staff were presentable and friendly. The food was ordered by our friends. We ordered a mix of seafood platter and some rice and curry. Our waiter served it in our plates and was very tasty. At the end we ordered our chocolate brownie with ice cream and my friend ordered her caramel pudding. Once again I was very happy to find that it was yummy. No wonder why even on a weekday it was packed. It wasn’t even as pricey as I expected. Will be going there again and recommend anyone visiting goa to not miss this place.
