The food was mouth watering. Excellent in every way... The Hummus and Sultan platter were well worth the money... Even the rice was extremely tasty and loved the sauces on the side! Sadly the signature cocktails were a huge disappointment. Ordered Hafeez, Malakeh, Coco Blue from the Signature cocktails and only the Coco Blue was okay. The Hafeez was too sour and the Malakeh had far too much elderflower. The classic cocktails we tried - the Negroni and Espresso Martini - were quite good.
Update 1 May 2025 - reduced stars for everything... Went for lunch this time. The place was empty and very breezy. It was surprisingly cool and pleasant with just a fan and the sea breeze but during the day the exotic vibe tht was there during our last dinner visit was missing. Service was polite and helpful but the waiter/s kept vanishing in between so we would have to attract the attention of the bar guy n then he would get them for us. We had to ask for extra spoons twice as we wanted to put a spoon in everything and help ourselves into our plates and they did not bring sufficient. The mezze veg platter was good if you like brinjal. Two of our group didn't like brinjal which made their options limited. Some chicken kebabs we ordered were okay, nothing very memorable. Everything was so filling we didn't end up ordering the mains. The desserts were .. sad. There was coconut ice cream on the menu which everyone wanted which turned out to be not available. And the server highly recommended the saffron pistachio icecream which turned out to be like eating ice-cream with a very healthy flavour of haldi and a very small bit of pistachio crushed on top which was only visible to the eyes, but could not be tasted by the mouth as the other favour was over powering. One weird thing is we asked for an extra bowl as two of the group wanted to share an ice cream and the server said he could not give us an extra bowl and he brought extra quarter plates which obviously wasn't ideal for eating ice-cream. And again, the desserts were brought and the server disappeared and then we realised we didn't have enough spoons on the table again. So overall service seemed...
Read moreThe restaurant is located in a quiet space. I arrived early and below things were ordered: Blue pea tea (small pot) Kotlet (chicken) - disappointment Chicken kubideh - single skewer and nothing special, just a waste. The kebab tasted same as kotlet and when we said we want spicy while ordering she gave a green chilli in the plate (that pathetic) Kunafe - extremely severely sweet and expensive Watermelon mint - full of ice, and juice was maybe 2 tablespoons and with seeds.
Overall pretty expensive and not at all worth it. The waitress there didn't know anything at all.
Will never ever visit this place.
Added below lines after the reply from the most unstable management: Dear Sir, you should be willing to digest negative reviews and improve upon it, senseless allegations on the people giving negative reviews will not do any good. I did not ask for free food anywhere but expected to get good food for the price i paid, which was not the case. Also you asked me to get a "mental treatment" that shows how you see the world with your narrow perspectives. I won't get to your level and abuse anyone, but you just...
Read moreOur research group from IIT Bombay stayed at Swimsea Beach Resort at Dona Paula Goa. During our 3 days stay we had dinner in one of night. When we had dinner, the restaurant just finished only 5 days. The waiters are good in behavior. We asked one of them what are haunted in places in Goa, and he provided a list of places. Besides, he told us there is one place which is very nearby our Hotel. Our group starts gossiping from 11:00 PM. Meanwhile, I and the son (Aurinko) of our boss was spending time in the backyard. It was my fortune that I came to know the good creative skill of Aurinko, he started making artistic mountains (please see the uploaded photo by me) from the stones kept as a stupa in the Restaurant. We ( me and Aurinko) noticed that our adults already started dancing with the music in the restaurants with the spirit of alcohol. I was very stubborn to not dance even I said I would prefer to die before dancing. However, our group members are very adamant and they forced me to join the dance. It was indeed a great time we had spent in the...
