is a beautiful multi cuisine restaurant located in vagator that serves delicious food and drinks ranging from seafood, Indian, Chinese, tandoor, Italian, continental and much more. I loved their Pomfret masala fry, prawns pulao, tawa chicken and corn cheese balls, just so good. Also their kingfish thali is worth trying. In drinks they offer a wide range of cocktails and mocktails. We tried their pinacolada and watermelon cooler which are a must try. In dessert i definitely loved their caramel cheese cake. Was there for dinner last night and had a terrible experience. The food was subpar. Pasta was okay, nachos was literally broken chips out of a bag with sparse toppings, avocado bruschetta was completely bland. zero seasoning.

One of my friends asked for fresh juice, was given a canned juice and charged for the fresh one anyways. We had to ask them to get us water for the table multiple times before they finally got us 3 glasses for a table of 4. Mind you, the place was half empty and we had gone early-ish.

Also, we had called and enquired beforehand about hookah pricings and they never let us know that it wouldn't be available that day. Won't...

Good places like Velvet are few. I had a great time here, the place is bustling with activities but at the same time calm.

After trying a few appetizers we ended up ordering a whole table of appetizers like kathi rolls, tikka, & cheese balls and that was all we ate here. Let me add that it was great. The tikka wasn't burnt and had a nice flavor of veggies and the cheese balls burst with cheese and had a great crisp to them. They also have a sauce (they did not share the recipe) that goes well with these dishes.

We were light on drinks, and the drinks we picked were quite good and had a strong taste that lingered for a good while.
