Food is okay, service is bakwaasss, don't visit

I have been going here since last 3-4 years and this place used to be good.

But now looks like success is now on their heads. Food taste is not good.

Also the service is very downgraded. You will keep asking for Sambhar n all, but you won't get it before asking them for 3-4 times. This I have felt even while going in low rush times with them. Also the amount of Sambhar and chutney they give, the quantity is very low. They are decreasing the quantity day by day (Check my photos, one is older one and second is of today), dont know how much you want to earn @bananapatra

The charges they take, this is not acceptable.

Today I went there as we were planning to have a 100 people party but very disappointed ☹️

I would not suggest this place anymore to anybody. Looks like they don't care for their customers now.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO GO HERE ANYMORE. There are plenty more options guys, explore them, they are alos cheaper than this.

Not much satisfied with food and ambiance and most importantly clean flooring .. Very congested place for serving staff and customers also yellow light was liking dark in visibility food taste was OK OK not much satisfied in any dosa which we were ordered like chhese gotala and panner roasted dosa only taste we like was sambhar and chatnies which they serve ..about cleaning the floorings near toilets basins and kitchen were very bad condition and most importantly they serve dosa since 7years they have to change or maintains seating sofas cover they were very poor we will not go for 2nd time sorry not satisfied.. Most important this is restaurant...

“Delightful South-Indian flavors with a cozy vibe 😋” I visited Banana Patra last evening for a solo dinner.

The ambience is warm and inviting — soft lighting, clean interiors, friendly staff. I tried their Masala Dosa and Coconut Chutney — dosa was crisp, chutney had the right balance of spice & sweetness. Portions are moderate; pricing is fair for the quality.

Service was prompt, and the server even recommended a good filter coffee. ☕ One small downside: the ventilation could be better — felt a bit stuffy toward the back.

Overall, a solid place for South Indian cravings in this area. I’ll come back to try their Vimala...
