Bubble Pop on SBR Road distinguishes itself not just as a cafe, but as a vibrant culinary hub, daring to blend the comforting classics of Asian cuisine with the colorful, contemporary flair of modern beverage culture. This establishment is a testament to bold, successful fusion, offering an experience that is both eclectic and deeply satisfying. The beverage alone—the Butterfly Blue Pea Matcha Latte—is an artistic creation. Presented as a stunning gradient (as visible in the foam), the drink is a beautiful alchemy of colors, transitioning from the earthy green of matcha to the electric, sapphire notes of the butterfly pea flower. Beyond the visual spectacle, the latte achieves a delicate balance; the creamy foam softens the astringency of the matcha, delivering a refreshing and intriguing flavor profile that is far removed from the mundane. It is a must-try for those seeking a drink that is both novel and skillfully prepared. The savory offerings are where Bubble Pop truly showcases its depth. The Miso Ramen Noodles were a soul-warming experience. The broth—richly flavored with miso—was complex, savory, and deeply umami, a perfect counterpoint to the springy noodles and the generous assortment of fresh vegetables and toppings. Every spoonful offered a satisfying texture and a robust, authentic flavor that speaks to careful preparation. The side dish, the Smoky Black Pepper Rice Ball, was a brilliant complement. This compact sphere of flavor demonstrates the chef's commitment to detail, offering a comforting core of seasoned rice with an intense, smoky black pepper kick. It served as a wonderful textural and flavorful contrast to the savory broth of the ramen. (The other image suggests a rich, mushroom-based dish, possibly related to the rice ball or a side gravy, further emphasizing the depth of flavor available). Bubble Pop is a destination for the culinary curious. It successfully marries trendy innovation with the grounding comfort of exceptional food. It’s an effervescent spot on SBR Road that fully...
Read moreIt's a good setup, quite the one for GenZ but millenials can try there too.. if I was in my primes and in Ahmedabad would have been a regular. I gave 4 because of following reasons.
Beverages: we had 2 simple beverages one is classic cold coffee.. perfectly balance and well presented no showbizz in that. Cold Americano; a great blend and served with great presentation there was a tinch of rosemary leaves which I guess is their own try, and is really nice but when someone is having a bitter bud let's not touch it. Overall the beverages are top notch. Food: as it was a small visit I just had a Ceaser Salad: a good salad 🥗 have good lettuce, perfect lemon juice, garlic and mustard to make it a bit more soury bitter while cheese and saus balancing by neutralizing the hype effect. I had more of cream and less of veggie, which made is more creamy for a light evening. But it was good as portion was less just needed above check and less of seeds. Serving: perfect the lady was quick smiling and great. Crew: great as they listen to your advices and trying hard to make a print on the board.
Ambiance: great if you are with your gang, it's rustic and nice, it's their own, definitely if you wish for more subtle place please don't go, this place is there for some happy mind with adrenaline rush just a suggestion take away the woofer.
Overall : A place you can visit multiple times because they serve you a great time, specially if you are a loner and like to be alone in a crowd just take a seat and finish the thoughts.
Thank you team...
Read moreAbsolutely abysmal service – a place to avoid if you value your time and sanity. Our two experiences at Bubble pop - East Asian cafe have been nothing short of disastrous, solidifying it as a cafe we will actively discourage others from visiting.
Our first visit was an immediate red flag. After being seated, a "known" patron of the cafe arrived, and we were unceremoniously informed that our table was "already booked" – despite no prior indication or reservation sign. This unprofessional handling of seating left a sour taste.
However, our second visit truly took the cake for sheer incompetence. We placed our order at 7:24 PM. By 9:00 PM, with no food in sight, we inquired about our dishes. We were told, vaguely, that the order was "being prepared." We asked again, and again, receiving the same non-committal response. It wasn't until 9:15 PM, after our third firm inquiry, that we were finally met with the shocking admission: "your order wasn't taken by mistake." An hour and twenty-six minutes of waiting, only to be told our order was never even processed. This level of disorganization is frankly unacceptable.
Frankly, the only thing this cafe seems to excel at is creating hype. If you're looking for a place to truly pass time – and by "pass time," I mean patiently endure a minimum of 1 hour and 55 minutes for just two dishes – then perhaps it's for you. Otherwise, save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. This cafe is a prime example of style over substance, with utterly dreadful service that makes the...
