Visited Jalpaan after quite some time, and I’m glad to say it still holds its place as one of the top recommendations for a cozy family lunch or dinner. While the seating can feel a bit cramped during peak hours, the staff were courteous, prompt, and attentive, ensuring a smooth dining experience. The food was served quickly, and as always, the flavors brought back that familiar, comforting feeling Jalpaan is known for.
Here’s what we tried:
Masala Papad (2/5): Unfortunately, this was a letdown. The papads were too brittle, breaking apart awkwardly and making it difficult to enjoy.
Khao Suey Soup (5/5): Easily the star of the meal. Having tried Khao Suey at several places this year, Jalpaan’s version stood out for its authenticity and rich, balanced flavors. A must-try!
Paneer ka Soola (3/5): A fancy name for a paneer tikka-style starter. It was decent but nothing extraordinary.
Jalpaan Special Baked Paneer (5/5): The highlight of the main course. Rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor — this stuffed paneer dish lived up to the hype.
Dal Jalpaan (4/5): A creamy dal makhani with a signature twist. Smooth, well-cooked, and comforting.
Garlic Naan & Butter Naan (4/5): Both were soft, fresh, and perfectly cooked — great accompaniments to the mains.
Masala Chaas (3/5): Refreshing but quite ordinary — could use a bit more punch.
Overall, Jalpaan continues to impress with its signature dishes and warm hospitality. Definitely worth a visit, especially for their Khao Suey and...

Other plans like Basic in 399rs and Premium in 699rs (In premium you can go for any choice of starter)
Dishes we like most: Papdi Pizza, Palak Chat, Lasagna, Paneer Sabji
My overall view: I feel like their old branch which was near Prahlad nagar road was much better compare to current one on Thaltej because its too outside and metro block the beauty of restaurant so when we have visited it was empty on Sunday lunch time.
Not go for the other photos which I have seen on Google with different designed platters but not found any such decorative or any such extra but its just simple dine in restaurant so keep that in mind instead of watching over hype reviews.
You can visit with family and friends for piece and good taste of food with multiple items on table and hot serve by them in Unlimited option as well instead of on other multi-cuisine they...
