M.M.Parotha House — Restaurant in Gujarat

In short: Food was undercooked. I had to toss it out. Contacted zomato for a partial refund. I don't recommend this place at all!

OK. So, I ordered x3 Manchurian noodles for ₹288 including the food donation and delivery charge. I saved ₹100 using a promo code, so it roughly calculates to under ₹100 per dish being directly delivered to you.

However, before I even review the food, we have 2 big problems.

1. The restaurant did not take my calls after my initial one which was patchy and could not be heard. This means I could not give them special instructions. This isn't good. I couldn't edit the food to my specifications and this is something that has to be noted. What if another serious issue were to occur in that I mistakenly ordered a non-veg dish or needed to correct a non-Jain one to a Jain one? This is no good. I have removed 2 starts for this issue itself. For those wondering why I am subjecting the restaurant to such critique, you must understand that I am taking into account various behaviors and processes, not simply the food itself.

2. The portion size is too small. I weighed one dish in its original container. I did not exclude the bag or container weight but still, you will see that the weight is around 300grm. This is not good. This means that it is too expensive! What is a good portion size? 500-700grms for ₹120 or less. That is great to excellent value for you as a customer! This is another star off the review even before I even have tasted the food.

Because the food was not made to specifications and it is done solely at the restaurant's discretion, they will be judged more strictly. Based on their actions and behaviors, I advise a SKIP here. Unless you are in the locale and will accept low portion size due to other restaurants being closed; lack of availability. I will be back in a bit with a review of the food itself!

Yesterday, I Visited after a long time. Earlier there were many parotha house there but now only M.M is available there. It is the oldest Parotha house of Ahmedabad. You can also order the food through Zomato. Prices are affordable. Food quality is also good....
